Ok tea they are very active and they told me this days ago... Because I'm in Hawaii and doing all this stuff I haven't really had any time to type it out on the forums until now......

I totally disagree with this post as well. I read a few of the comments and they hit it right on the head....

I'd also like to add how much time they've sacrificed from playing the real game... Not leveling... Not collecting gold, not necissarily preparing themselves as I am for this update to come.

@ Rikitt keep finding bugs and glitches an report them in the live version as for beta that is none of your affair or business for if it were you would have access to the beta forum ,as i said earlier the beta testers are busting ass 24/7 as for being a beta tester ,,, you fail with a attitude like that

My problem with the post is basically this:

That it was made to agitate the community. Made to provide ammunition against either Beta Testing, or against Testers, or against the Admin for running such contests.

None of those things are fair in my opinion.

If this was a personal question to the admin you would have just PM'd it to him. This post was made to draw community attention to a beta testing issue. Like a whistle-blower, but using information that was false or poorly derived and thus incomplete.

I'm not fully disagreeing with all points, your Beta Informant was correct in that there should have been a better relay of Contest Starting. But the Admin is as new at this as anyone, because we don't usually run contests, so his snafu, but you can't ask a guy who has as many things as he does for this game, beta and company not to make a few mistakes. Drawing him over hot coals for it publicly is not only low class but totally UNneeded. Again the prizes were purchasable gear, and anyone not testing will most likely have the gold to buy it(after they unlock the vendor) so it's a moot issue.

I just disagree with how you handled this issue, you took people that don't really deserve community ire at all to task in a public forum. And did it with the intent to call them to answer for some huge injustice, but the only true injustice was starting this thread in the first place.

Consider the source of this post and its value is clear. Rickitt recently blasted a beta tester for bringing up a game exploit and ranted about perceived admin brown nosing.

Complete ignorance if you ask me, if not for beta, I could have been level 100 by now. This post just goes to show the lack of appreciation some people have not just for Beta Testers, but the Admin and Devs themselves. Do you really think it was all fun and games Beta Testing? Think we only PLAY the game! NO! We actually have to look for bugs and do more work. You say you could have gotton to 60, I beg to differ, You think we give our characters Heroif Amulets and Lux items? No we start as REAL new players and that takes A LOT of work.

I informed my clan of this contest. I was upset about the start of the contest time. I read the forums once a day and did not see the post for 12 hours before I started. At that point Energy and Marsh were already level 30. There was my issue and Rikitt was approved to beta test, but he turned it down at the last min to focus on the clan and finishing his meteoric set. That's why he is mad.

Why would you call me a mole Darkchylde? This wasn't a secret competition or a secret beta for that point. Everything we have done from day one has been posted in the forums, posted as pictures, or posted in videos. How will energy and marsh explain how they had gotten the new armor? Congrats to them!

I get asked questions about beta on a daily basis, and I try to give answers to the best of my knowledge.

And beta testers have not been working 24/7. This is primarily the reason there was a contest.

I don't disagree with everything in your post Duece, but the fact of the matter is I doubt you can legitimately support this thread in it's intentions or it's comments. As I said in an earlier post, Admin shoulda given better notice, but he is as human as any of us and has many things on his plate. And obviously learns on the job. Now he knows and any future contests in any future betas I'm sure will be held and informed more professionally. As well as future contests on live servers.

But that said, this thread is crying foul with under information and over emphasis on mistakes that are more human than criminal. Yes, mistakes were made, welcome to reality. It happens.

But as to beta testers and their work ethic, yeah I call attention to it weekly. You have a handful of active testers and a legion of deadbeats. It's a difficult thing to deal with, but the handful do considerable work, and really make the beta go.

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all your hard work beta testers! I had actually made a thread a few days ago to to try and show my appreciation for all your hard work and time spent on getting this update out. It actually kind of angers me to know that there are people who are so impatient and selfish when it comes to this. I have never been a beta tester for a game, but as I understand it, it's not like a free pass to play the game before everyone else. It actually is hard work! To see people so unappreciative and impatient really bothers me. Do you think that the beta testers and developers are actually trying to delay the release? And to say that the beta testers deserve nothing for thier work and time spent is frankly quite offensive! I personally wouldn't mind if ALL the beta testers got some sort of advantage for thier time and effort considering they are actually LOSING a lot in the live version of the game.

Rikitt you need to calm down and just think about what actually is happening before you try and rip those involved a new... Hole... Just try and deal with the fact that someone may have an advantage over you in a video game. And think about it... Is the person/persons who won the contest automatically going to be number 1 in the game? There are people who spen hundreds of dollars on this game. And if someone really wanted to, they could surpass everyone by spending a few bucks.

as the admin stated the armor is vanity an fashion no advantage no stats that was won in the contest an will be sold by a merchant,,,, as for the other it will be a quest an have stats an advantage so what the hell is the big deal rikkit you can buy it with gold an you can quest for the other armor
