So its becoming pretty apparent to me that making decisions based on votes on this forum is..a poor choice.

Why are we allowing decisions to be made by a random group of a dozen people?

Instead, I think we should start a committee of 5-12 of the most respected players on the server and have them make the decisions.

We could still come to the forum to voice our concerns and make proposals for the committee to decide.

Some will argue that they don't want a few people making all the decisions for them but thats already happening with these dumb forum votes.

We could have a representative from each big clan, or some variation like that.

A kik group could be started for them and decisions could be made fairly quickly, with the greater interest of lugh always in mind.

This 'committee system' seems like such a better system than what we currently have.

Just make it like the USA government._. 1 legislative 1 executive and 1 judicial branch

Back to the terrible idea. Who chooses who is the most respected?? Is there a certain percentage of prestige they must have??? Do you name them???? Pfffftt, we already been through this with the washed up clan, who I wont name or shame. I believe it started with a B.... Lets get this straight, YOU or no one else has my best interest at heart. Forum is for discussion and debate. Lets not try to stifle everyone's thoughts or ideas. Why does this topic always rear its ugly head. Oh, I know, its a 5 letter word....

-1 on that idea. Why just the big clans? Most are big because the noobs are addicted to lixes....again, forums are for discussions and decisions...

A big clan is in no way indicative of a respectable clan, look at some examples from the past. When syndicate was first made it quickly grew to one of the biggest in Lugh, although, it was comprised of those that were happy to ks any and all in bosses and regular mobs (Although syndicate is no longer like that, it is still a prime example). Ade, what happens when someone voices something you do not agree with, will you make yet another thread to complain about it? Massive -1, the system works fine as it is with anyone having a say if they want to, not some bench of 12 or so people making decisions for what they 'think' is best for everyone.

What you define as a noob is quite a broad range ade. Ive played this game since pre first patch, yet youve called me a noob on multiple occassions as I dont care to level or play all too often, and ive witnessed you bashing many, many others. These 'noobs' make up an intrinsic majority of this server, and deserve to voice their opinion whether you, or anyone else deems it worthy.

No group of players should or will tell the world what to do. This is lugh, a place where everyone has a say. If this is done you might as well just make it a dictatorship. And the forum is the best place to talk about rules, ill use a example of myself here. I come to the 200 boss, get there before lock and i, and others hear about this rule that we didnt know existed even. Making a vote in front of a few people isnt a real vote, i never got a vote. Here on the forums everyone can see this, and vote, and we can read the rules if we forget too. This group of people dictating the worlds rules and such, is a terrible idea. This would be taking the freedom of lughs democratic voting out, and no one should stand for this.
