Re: Why are decisions made based on forum votes?

-1 any rule should have the chance to be debated by everyone, so that the people who oppose or support can give thier supporting or opposing arguements, a group of 12 could all agree on a rule but a group of 100 or more could oppose it. Everyone deserves a say and should all be looked upon equally, no one person should have more of a say than anyone.

I think the real point that is being missed here that Ade is trying to point out is; lately the forums is composed of the same handful of people. So, what is it the difference between the same 15-20 people on the forums expressing/voting ideas, or a group of 15-20 people in game expressing/voting on ideas?!
...
I'm not expressing my agreements with Ade's proposal here, just pointing out the state of the forums and how stale of a platform it has become.

The point is, anyone can visit forums and view and comment on the debate. If you choose not to, thats your choice. Hmmm, its really hard to read these comments. Most of these peeps are, in a classic term, nokbs. Yeah, there a high level bu really have no clue. A history lesson children, this has already been attempted on Lugh. One strong personality and a bunch of "yes men". Pffft, no thanks. If you do not wish to participate on the forums, then thats your choice. I'm still a little confused who the supposed 12-15 peeps in game that would make the decisions for all??? No offense, but most you guys havent played very long, so I really dont know you. I wont have my gameplay affected by your so called respect in the game. Pfft.... If you are a pre-update 1 player, than you been playing awhile, so I may be more inclined to listen...haha, since I am one of just a few of the peeps, pre update 1, your ravings and rantings dont mean very much. Use the forums for the discussions and debate....

I'm sorry maybe I should explain why I find this so funny.
This post is asking people of Lugh who usually vote, to vote that they cannot vote anymore. ROFL.
Lugh:
warrior 229
rogue 230
druid 228
ranger 228
mage 200

say no to dominant clans.

There seems to be the same few people who post on here but many come on here to read. I can see how it looks like theres just a few of us. I often speak to players in-game who have read the forums but decide not to post their opinions for whatever reason. We should just simply encourage more people to participate in discussions.

I cant count the number of ideas on here that seemed good or bad and through discussions have found ways to improve or reject them. There are a lot of people in Lugh with different perspectives on things and being able to bring them out and talk about them is what makes this a great server.

Haha +1 Curry's 3 branches

Bcuz +1 Lukov's more-debate idea

Thus +1 Ade's leadership roundtable as just one more way to digest new scenarios

Yay team!

We're all better off getting all our friends to hit the forums to share their opinions, this way they'll also learn of new battle plans or suggestions themselves rather than hearing it at the very worst time.

Right now it says 5 guests viewing these forums, do people just not like to post?
