Thanks Boot but I'm not that familiar with the plan and I have just recently started playing again. I havent been to any test runs in forever. Kam started this topic and I know Ade has posted one before. Whoever decides to do it has to know the plan very well.

The key is repetition. Get all your members familiar with the encounter and what needs to be done when things go awry. It took us 8 attempts to perfect our strategy and we are a small and very organized clan. I reckon its going to be harder for a mutli clan server effort with varying raid members each time. But keep at it, as the cliche goes, practice makes perfect.

We havent had as many kills as Arawn, its hard for us to get 30 players together, but there was that one day when we had a good turnout with about 45 toons and killed him in 13:40. Our last few fights have been in the 14-16min range, pretty nice to do it with one haste lix as his drops are really ****** but the accomplishment of killing him is a good feeling indeed.

Why are we not treating this like the first Mordy attempts? What I mean by that, is for the first Mordy attempt, there was a "rough" roster already made as to who was going to be in the battle.

My suggestion of groups, base on the numbers of people present this morning, 40, their classes, is :

GROUPE 1
Main tank group
Callator and 5/6 druids

GROUPE 2
Add group north side
1 ranger with sharpen, 4 wars, 3 rogue

GROUPE 3
Add group south side
1 ranger with sharpen, 4 wars, 3 rogues

GROUPE 4
DPS group ranged on necro located other side of necro on middle part of the bridge
4 archers with long shoot and 4 dps mage with at least one with fire lure and another one piercing

GROUPE 5
second DPS group on ghosts mainly and necro located other side of necro on middle part of the bridge
4 mages with at least one with fire lure, another one piercing, 2 wars and 2 rogues

My suggestion is, as people reading this post they can write themselves down in one of the group.

This is perfect! So, eight people max in a group, right? Just a suggestion, cause I have seen this done for the Mordy plan, why don't we come up with a roster for each group right now to make it more structured. In this way we can also have relievers just in case a paticular player cannot make it. I understand that not everyone reads the forums but making this list can help those who do read it pass on the groupings info to those who dont and we can amend as necessary too. We can have our experts look at the groupings and see if it is a go. Help from other servers who have killed Necro is also very much welcome.

And perhaps Kam you can come up with a rough draft and we can see how it would look like and make changes if needed.

Btw, im on leave for a month or two so as much as I would like to join Lugh in this great victory I can't for now. Will definitely join the next ones though. Good luck!!!

As i know, there is raun using rupture too, any other war using rupture?
I dont want to force someone to respect only for necro. As for experience, it is costly at the end to respect all time only for one fight.

The Necro encounter is a plat sink. We respec people skills all the time if we need a certain skill or when some regulars fail to attend. We usually hand out 2 alt books to those we ask to respec, so they can revert to their usual skills.

OTM is trying to make a variety of bosses which requires not commonly used skills. I wouldnt be surprised if, in the future, that Energy Harvest or Magic Ward or Lure of Giants will be necessary. Gotta keep selling those alt books. Poor game design imo.

I used your comments to re-adjust the class in the groups
As you can see, we are missing 1 wars with ruptures. If you are using the skill please let me know, i don't want you to respect only for fight.
Last thing, many of you are asking for 7 east time, What do you think of that please?
As soon we will know if time ok for everyone, we could finalize the groups.

So who gets the gold from Mordris? The kill group only? That's 62k per kill. Why don't you use it to buy books. Isn't it unfair that 8 people (usually dps) get 7,750 while the tank/heal/support personnel gets nothing?
