Re: Is griefing against the ToS?

I'm with sere  Don't start something if you can't handle the consequences n00b.
Isn't plat glitching against the rules? I bet you're innocent of that one too aren't you.
OTM gave a warning and obviously none of us have used it or we'd be banned lol. But there you go again sticking your nose in something you have no clue about. As I said, you have alot to learn.

Grief? Is this your word for ks? Cause if it is, no, it's not against tos
No, such as dragging the deepfire sentinals on priestess when they both happen to be up and using a scroll of rooting on both multiple times so the dps wipes and slows down the kill for example... Just to be dicks on a boss they cannot even kill themselves

Or per say resetting a lower lvl, different clan on a 6* boggan priest and stealing it from them because the people griefing have full dragonlord and taunt gear whereas the people that are trying to actually kill the boss for the drops cannot out taunt due to the nature of the games agro system that favors those with dl legs over those without
You actually think this is against the ToS? Smh

As far as I am aware, griefing is not against the Terms of Service/Terms and Conditions(ToS/TaC). I think in this case, it's just fair game when it comes to bosses, although if they are intentionally resetting the boss, I think that would be a violation.

Good Luck, and Happy Hunting!

Unfortunately OTM has no time for griefers just as scammers who run amok. I think you are stuck with those people for a while, sorry for being pessimistic.

You can only hope that these people see the error in their ways and decide to play the game for fun and pleasure rather than for hair pulling, potty mouthing.. Etc etc.

Wish you all the best.

Technically, as you said, root scrolling a boss is not against the TaC, because it may be considered helping, depending on how you see it.
Although, resetting is against the TaC as it falls under disrupting player-sponsored events, (i also think there is a specific rule outlawing resetting after lock.)

no it is not. it is part of competition which is otm's goal for open world bosses. there is no rule against griefing bosses in any way

Perhaps you should think of the playing experience of others?

Of course you and other top clans will be entirely opposed to allowing your 'competition' to get gear, however OTM isn't here to cater to the desires of top world clans, and must make decisions on what is best for the game.

Resetting a boss is wrong and everyone knows it. It clearly undermines target lock, and is against the ToS.

Ps. You just said OTM intended for bosses to be reset.
