I wish i had an answer for aborting but i wasnt at the attempts to see how it went wrong. Maybe i missed it but I dont recall seeing a 'lessons learned' post after the fights. If they were there then I'll check for them if not, they are useful to have and share information about improving.

I agree with elle, the group on the north bridge that contains the ghosts would benefit from a druid. If the ghosts get loose it's almost a guaranteed abort. During our best attempt we contained them nearly the entire time. It looks like, looking at kam's battle plan, group 5 is the ghost containing group. I think the wars in that group should all have dl shield as it deals some divine damage (only damage the ghosts take). A tank build with with taunt and warcry for the wars would be helpful imo so the wars can get aggro and use the shield skill (also deals divine dmg). Having no strength should not effect the amount of divine damage dealt. Also, any time set i should be able to make. After 5 pm est is always best for me. Thank you for the plan Kam.

I think the more competent high level players who meet requirements the better. We will need all the dps we can get to beat necro. I agree with elle that all eligible people on lugh should be able to attend. This is one of the reasons that sets lugh apart from other servers. We value each others hard work and act as a team even though we are all in different clans .

I was never a fan of a master list that restricted people from attending. It is elitist and wrong. If someone does not listen or causes problems than remove them from attending.

Kam, Thank you for taking the initiative on Necro.
Everyone .... Kam is just getting a staring point ... if your name is not on it, its NOT personal, nor does it mean you cannot attend, it is merely a starting point, much like we did with Mordy.
I would like to see an over view of group responsibilities and sequence of events please.
Aslo a lessons learned with each group participating in lessons please.
This is a HUGE effort by kam, please support his efforts, with our legendary supportiveness.
With a base group make up set prior to start, it REALLY helps things run smoother, as ppl show or no show, adjustments are much easier to make.

As far as a druid in the ghost containment group, I was in 4 attempts on NECRO in this group, a druid will help out, but will not prevent ppl from dying, every time a heal is cast it draws the ghosts aggro ... that can be countered healing DPS after target is dead or sucking it up and burning an idol. I do not reccommend logging to avoid druid death syndrome.

The first attempts, we could not do much damage to NECRO himself, I am sure that is no longer an issue.
I see the ghosts as problem 1 and getting out of NECRO's life steal as number 2 issues that MUST be addressed.
1. Add some druids in the ghost group, or have druids heal out of group between tank and ghost group.
2. All long range DPS needs to be behind the table as shown in picture ... MUST be this way ppl. The tank needs to draw necro to the place designated as well. PPL MUST get out of LIFE STEAL range .... this take timing and practice..

We can kill him as a server, but only if we come together, if we dont agree with something, offer an alternative, and dont feel bad if your alternative is not used ... Only by working together can we kill him.

I'm only referring to his example which I found insulting, it's probably just a language barrier problem.

I'm also fed up of how many times we have to die while containing adds ghosts coming from North. Druids can solve this imo. It was taken too lightly, every time the ghosts overpowered us, then made their way onto tank and dps, smashed the entire party, then we ended up aborting as usual. If you could point at better reasons why we kept aborting this mission, than adds group at North side getting overrun by ghosts as usual, it would be helpful to probably reach some success at Necro. It happened in so many tests, a bunch of ghosts running towards main tank, I try to warcry them, like 3 of them, while it's too late they are already doing damage on main tank and dps groups, and they keep killing me and I die with timer over and over.
Well I hold the 200 lirs boss adds usually with one druid, while main tank and dps are busy killing 200. haven't tested it on the 6* but the 5* went down super fast with this method, while I was spamming sweeping blow and wacry on the 200 adds all 4 of them. But this couldn't have happened without a druid.

Main tank group

Druids : Wendell,Sarge,Sabre,Frydo,Dulcima,Samear, Rhizomal with at least one max in one of the skills : Bark, Embrase, Abundance , Ward of soldiers, sanctuary

GROUPE 2
Add group north side (taking minion away from necro mainly)
1 ranger with sharpen,3 wars,3 rogue, 1 druid with high breath
Ranger :Kraken with sharpen
Rogues : Instant, Virus, DD
War : ciccio, xShawnx, elleelle
Druid : Lukov

GROUPE 3
Add group south side (taking minion away from necro mainly)
1 ranger with sharpen, 5 wars, 2rogues
Ranger : Coolpass with sharpen
Rogues : Vulture, Dor4
Wars : o8o, jaylon, Ginger, Ani, xXconductXx

GROUPE 4 Lock group
DPS group ranged only necro located other side of necro on middle part of the bridge

Rogues and rangers are useless, we need these on the boss, mages and rupture warriors do the best damage to the ghosts.

I'd say viru instead of kapec and kapec can fill in for me if I can't make it. Reason being Viru and I both attended many necro trials where kapec has not, viru also has dl offhand which may or may not be necessary due to us having two already. Vir can even take my spot if you have a strange love for kapec.

As many saw today, our attempt on necro did not happened :(

If we are setting a time, we should all attempt, no matter what is on.
Without that thinking we wont be able to have the right amount of ppl for that fight.

At 7 east , between 45-50 were present, but some decide to wait for 150 and 200, and the rest followed.
At the end we waited 1:15 min for 200, as we could have at least done 1 or 2 tries and maybe succeed it.

Lets try to stick to plan and all meet next saturday at 5east so it wont be to late for our European friends.
As by the time we killed 200 today, it was to late for europe to come ( 1:30 am for them) and we end up 20 ppls in skewers.

It is a fight that we can only win, if we ALL are ready and committed to it.
