Does anyone think OTM will add a feature where we can change our characters name?

This could cause a lot of problem with people impersonating each other and it will also be easier for scammers to get away with their scams

I think this should be in Feedback and Suggestions, no?

I think something like this should be implemented, however there should be some limits (i.e. a player can't change their name to an old name of a different player, to prevent scamming and impersonating).

They have a character rename feature after the Destiny Engine launch on iOS. No details on how it would work yet. Hope this answers your question.

Why?: because it would cause confusion amongst other players and hold numerous other consequences
OTM's response IMO: You will have to make a new character
Why?: because that's OTM's response for most questions like this

Otm have confirmed they are adding this feature but i think it will be limited like once every few months or something you can change ur name to prevent scammers.
I think they should have a feature where it shows your old name too.
