Re: How much attack is too much?

Those are certainly impressive stats. I count about 6.5k attack based on his gear, so with a combo I can see how it would be 9k.
I would subtract 500 ish attack, and 130 ish damage for stead aim though. In order to cast it, he would have to switch to a bow, cast steady aim, then switch back to spear. Maybe this is what he does, but it still costs a good auto or two.
I can't say I approve of wasting a shadow spear. (if he owns it, and isnt just borrowing it) Maybe he doesnt owe anything to his clan, or however he teams with other players to defeat mord/hurng, but a spear like that would be in much better hands with a rouge, or maybe even a warrior.
Yea rangers should get criticized for rolling for 185+ spears.

If your world kills mordris with ease, there will be more spears in banks and not being used so maybe thats the story here.

What skills do u use with your spear?
And like I said earlier, in order to use steady, you have to temporarily equipt a bow, then swich back to spear?

I use steady, sharpen, double, skewer, camo, and bolas. Yes I do equip bow cast steady then switch back to spear.

Robax, does it really matter what methods he uses? Ether way he gets those stats which proves they are possible even if they might cost lix, skills that cost autos or what not.

He wouldn't achieve these stats without the spear so maybe that makes up for the bow being lost? Theres crap skills for the bow and crap skills for a spear ranger as well so I dont see the difference.

RunAndSteal, as impressive as your stats are, I think you would be better off converting all of your points in dex, to str.
This is my reasoning behind that statement:
My experiment was to figure out the percentage of accuracy gained or lost depending on attack, and I think that same differential between differing attack amounts is going to be the same on a boss. Having only 4k attack for a boss might mean you hit 50% or less of the time, but with 4.5k you might only hit .6% more than with 4k, and I'm guessing that adding more attack is not the solution. Better to hit 400 more damage per attack, than to hit 1-5% (at a guess) more attacks than everyone else.
