Belenus Clans

#1
Hello!
Apologies in advance if I'm posting in the wrong place. I'm fresh-faced and green in both this forum, and Celtic Heroes.

I've been playing for a day or so (in Belanus, despite the difficulty I have trying to log in each time), and it's becoming increasingly difficult to play solo as I progress.

Where does one go to find a clan to join? Or people in general? It seems rare that I come across another person, but each seems to be in a different clan from the next.

So... I know they're out there...

What am I doing wrong? And does anyone have a home for me?

I'm approx. Level 11, with only basic armor and weapons that I've picked up in my travels. I feel like I've got a general understanding of the gameplay, but that may also be a rookie mistake.

Any guidance would be fantastic!

As a level 11 you won't find a very good clan that can provide gear and such. My experience at that level has showed me that most of the people there don't really help each other that much. I suggest just trying to level up and a find a better clan. Also you said you are having trouble progressing in the game? How so? As in it's just getting boring or you are continuously getting killed by quest mobs?

Im not really familier with low lvls clans, they're not as helpful, u can try Sucuro at later point, not sure what lvl, theres also Ronin and Elementals, but after ronin highering their lvl req both clans have lvl req of 150.

Thank you for the info.

I guess a follow-up question would be... How do I go about joining a clan? Is it generally based on a chance meeting in-game? Or is there a feature I'm not familiar with?

I've searched online and there don't really seem to be any useful resources for finding a clan, nor any insight as to how one meets up with the right people.

The highest density of people I've seen are spam shouting and selling in a castle courtyard.

I suppose if nothing else comes up, I'll stick with haphazard grouping with strangers for now.

Seems like I'm maybe completing quests faster than my level can support (13 now), and the bosses (or whatever the case may be) are much too strong. Otherwise, I'm getting killed by inconsequential NPC's en route to my goal.

To join a clan u need to be invited by a member ranked as Guardian or above, each clan has it's own requirements besides lvl, like being a nice person, keeping ur rep clean, some prob just will want u for ur power.

My advice here would just be to as you are completing quests maybe instead of just completing the quest and moving on you could complete the quest and train at that area a bit. Such as the skullcrushers. You can complete that quest and then continue training there for one or two levels and move onto the next quest. This is what I did and it worked out pretty well. I still die occasionally but that is to be expected. This will be necessary for zones past the Dustwither Catacombs where mobs will begin to get stronger like in shale. Hope this helps :D
