I agree that this is what otm needs to change. I suggested the same before long time ago but since wards are a group buff if i remember correctly (it's been over year since ive looked at the ward skills), I recommended to take the 6 wards into two skills. The first ward could be called Ward of Bark that is just like shield of bark but buffs an entire group and adds less armor than shield of bark and would cost more energy, and a Ward of Elements that buffs an entire group against magic, fire and ice damage that costs same energy and same amount of elemental protection as Ward of bark does to armor.I suggested this about a year ago.. instead of having 6 wards, just get rid of the Physical Wards (who uses them over bark?) and make the elemental ones into a skill called Shield of Dreams (to match Shield of Bark.. with possibly more resists than bark since most elemental attacks deal much higher damage than physical)What about consolidating the SIX wards into two: Ward of the Elements (fire, ice, magic) and Ward of Combat (pierce, slash, crush)?
Just a thought...
Either way both ideas would work better than the current broken Ward skills. It would make wards a viable skill in druid's skills and guarantee that they would be used more than they are being used now.
