My biggest concern is solo lvling. It takes 5+ min to get to mordy pit. I solo there myself and often times get accidentally swarmed by trolls and say these new idols are in effect. Is OTM just gonna say sorry, your s*** out of luck? Ty for wasting 5 min on your lix and an idol. Imo solo lvling is faster then grp lvling and the fact that OTM wants me to grp lvl and waste even more lixes then i have to doesnt sit well with me.

I saw someone say solo lvling was unheard of until update 4 which I don't buy at all, but lets just pretend that is true. Some people prefer solo leveling, they can do their own thing and don't have to worry about others messing them up or whatever. Although it honestly becomes a problem with group leveling as well if you get swarmed by mobs (which can happen at times) or a troll or other mob aoe's your group, you could all be screwed. Makes me wonder if it would put camo users at a huge advantaged with preventing them from getting swarmed, keeping encounters 1v1 and allowing them to die less

I would applaud it if I thought OTM knew what they were doing, but they don't, so I can't. When its been over a year since the last update and the silly little things like the carrow wall glitches have still not been fixed, my confidence level that an idol change will make the game more challenging is at an all time low.

Lets just ignore the complete and utter lack of content and make the stuff already here more difficult. Yep, great idea.

wouldnt mind it if it wasnt for the severe lack of druids. i mean itll make game more challenging but i think theres worlds where mord hasnt been killed 10 times and this will just make it even harder for the worlds lacking cooperation to form a end game clan that can down bosses and have the minimum required number of players present. besides making the game challenging players will be dying more often as i see it, so a plus to otms pocket for people who buy idols from shop :lol:

Amen, granted yes I personally feel lucky to call Arawn my home world and we've been fortunate enough to have great players who are able to cooperate and come together to kill such bosses with some ease, but other worlds are struggling still. It feels like OTM sees worlds like Arawn, Rosmerta, Rhia, and others (bad with worlds sorry) and see how easy things come for them and how we're begging for new content and more of a challenge while they're neglecting the other half a dozen servers who may struggle to kill mordy on a regular basis. Simply doesn't make sense to make the game harder when it's already difficult....

Bosses need to be adjusted accordingly - it's too easy and fast to die in this game.. full tanks with 10k health can go from having full health to dead within a matter of seconds. Item and natural regen also needs to be adjusted, as those without sigils will struggle massively, unless you have a druid in group (would still need 1 heal per person), and a Mage using Sacrifice and Energy Boost (may need an Energy group-buff (Breath-type) skill for Mages. This will make it so that your druids need to be perfectly specced for each fight.

I'd be much more in favour of 50% health/energy after using idols, but I don't think it's right to add links to old threads, when we now have Death Penalty. If this is implemented, death penalty should be removed. And no, we don't rely on idols to get kills.

Also - what happens to Druids when they spawn with 1k energy and no sigils? .. They'll barely even be able to heal.. Game is far too easy to die to have such drastic death consequences.

Played a previous MMO that had brutal death consequences, but was ridiculously easy to die... Died about 5 times in 3 years.

Its all about the money. Now when you idol you will instantly need to use a res potion. Really not too smart to put the squeeze on an already limited number of plat buyers!! Why dont you just make chests, idols, and res pots untradeable too??

Removing afk, Potion timers, death penalties, nerfing idols, and removing camo charms have all led to a less enjoyable more expensive game.

And there is the answer : sigils = $$$

That being said, present idols do NOT give energy at all. However, when you resurrect you are in non-combat mode, allowing your sigils to kick in immediately.
