I did it in three hrs
Although it's not really any grinding, it's questing and dung queuing, 1-68 quest and little bit of grind, 69-70 there r no quests available, so do some dungs and lots of grinding, but that's just one lvl!

Take note it was made when 150 was cap

At my rate its gonna take 5 years or so.
I'm only level 75 and its already over 2 years. :/

At that rate you'd actually die from old age before getting anywhere near max level.

Max level as in 200 for this game..takes like 8-12 days for 190 in ch..had a clannie do it twice so far..only 200s we have have played for awhile..vets

I think that it depends. Someone making and lvling an alt can do it fairly quickly. They already have lux they can use and, if they don't have drops in their own bank, friends that can give them things they need. Someone with experience in the game already knows if it is worth it to them to spend money for plat. They may buy some for lixes for the toon or just buy plat items from another player. Knowing more people tends to mean that you have a better chance of someone selling plat items to you.

Someone new to the game will take a while longer. Quests can keep someone occupied if they don't know that the reward isn't worth the effort. They will also be taking in the game for the first time and learning the best way to allocate stat and skill points. Without experience or asking someone, this takes a trial and error approach. They will also need to farm for gold and, hopefully, learn to camp for their drops. Some of the gold they farm will be spent on things that are obselete for them and they will have to start over to get better stuff.

Someone new to MMOs will take even longer. Not only do they have the same problems that someone who is just new to the game has, they will also spend time lvling a toon and possibly deciding that a particular class isn't for them. They might start from scratch because of this.

I think that if you take the second type of player and assume that they have other obligations, 6 months to a year would be a reasonable amount of time that it should take anyone. Being able to do it quickly doesn't seem to make it an accomplishment and having it take too long deters people from trying.
