Re: Is it true OTM nerfing idols?
#61Don't even think about making idols untradeable. Hundreds of plat buyers would lose millions.

I could see OTM doing this, but it would be a blatant cash grab.Or, why not offer them both? Allow Ancient idols to continue to be sold, which give full health, but no energy (which is what they presently do), and sell a new type of idol that gives 1000 health and 1000 energy? That way people can choose which they would prefer?
I guess i misunderstood the point you were trying to make. I assumed, in your scenario, that the price or the two different items would be different with the ancients having a higher cost than the new onesI don't understand that at all. If both types of idols are available in the item store for the same price, why would that drive the prices up at all? If anything it would stabilize prices at present cost? This would drive prices of ancient idols through the roof. They probably already will skyrocket after the change, and I can can see the devs making the existing idols non tradable in order to try and stabilize the pricesOr, why not offer them both? Allow Ancient idols to continue to be sold, which give full health, but no energy (which is what they presently do), and sell a new type of idol that gives 1000 health and 1000 energy? No. The idols you have now are ancient. They will be legacy items, so they will no longer be sold (like how golden camos are legacy items). The new death resto idols will be the only ones you can buy.I think i see where OTM is going with this. Soon these "ancient rez" will be available in plat store which will obviously cost more plat than reg idols.
Smart move, but like frumentarii stated: ask the community of what they think first, implement it in beta then go ahead with it. A poll here might not be a bad idea.
Is that even enough to cast 1 spell anymore????As far as I can tell its a boost. Before when my mage died he didnt gain any energy. Now he will gain 1000.
