I agree (now) he's not as well. Just wish if people would be more open about it, no reason to bully anyone regardless its just toys. People in crom do trade (mainly swap colours) but i was approached by many non seed members that wished to swap certain colours and we did that, again theres nothing wrong with it. I guess the people that r providing him with the dl want to remain anonymous, but he shouldn't be. If people are going to spam his main or threaten him to give out the name of who are providing him with drops then i guess thats his only way to avoid them. Sad, but true.

Sadly, people are going to bully. Even though they are open about it by using their main, they still have the anonymity that being online affords. My position on concealing your ig identity remains as it always has, if you are going to do something that has consequences, take the consequences.

If anyone doesn't have anything nice to say then it's best not to say any more in this situation.

It's clear that my clan is going to keep getting attacked baselessly in this thread, so here's my +1 to locking it. I had a response to nueee yet again being belligerent, but frankly he isn't worth it. Just lock this and be done with it because Chosen has hijacked this thread for their own ends.

most of the people commenting on this thread aren't from this world anymore, or have gone so inactive that you only see them on the forums now spitting hate and rage. I wouldn't say that their views represent the opinions or attitudes of Arawn.

With people commenting from other servers, it's just 1/3 of them that has anything negative to say relating to the server. The others are supportive of most clans general opinions on selling drops.

Every clan is hypocritical about drops. If a clan member needs something that they or the clan can't provide them with, it is acceptable for them to buy it from someone outside of the clan. Whoever is selling said item is usually in a clan that has policies against selling items that should stay in the clan. It's ok for a clan to cause someone not in their clan to violate rules but it's not ok for your clan members to violate them.

Set a standard. Don't allow your clan to buy any drop as well as sell any drop. Then there won't be a market.

If it's not about one clan, why do you guys keep talking about my clan, and painting all it's members with a broad brush as "bullies"?

I don't have a problem with you guys debating whether or not dl should be sold. what I have a problem with is you bashing the people in my clan, and by extension bashing me because I'm in that clan. Continue to stay on topic and you won't have any issues from me.

Now, there must be some people selling dl in res, I won't deny that. And that is res leadership's mess to clean up. But you can't deny the possibility that they are coming from your clan too. So I call on your clan to set a standard as well, so there won't be a market.

I won't claim that we are perfect, but we try to keep our house in order by kicking dl sellers/buyers when we find them, because it benefits the clan. I should hope that your clan does the same. Glass houses.. stones.. and all that..

My thoughts about drops imo was ahead of my time cuz since ow came out and all the aggy drops that weren't aloud to be sold for example are now items you see bring sold in shout , everything will eventually be like that it happened with frags it happened with the crests for frozen and it will eventually happen with the dl drops.

Setting a standard was in no way directed at anyone in particular. The previous paragraph starts with "every clan". If all clans want to have people stop selling drops they have to quit buying drops. The only one doing any bashing was Nueee. This isn't all about you.

This part is:

There are reasons that many just assume that the drops come from your clan. It has nothing to do with bashing you, just reasoning.

1. Stockpile of drops. When a clan is using every single drop that they get, except maybe gems, to gear the person next in line up, people pay attention to what drops are had and what drops are needed. When a clan has a bank full, it is a lot easier for someone to assume that no one is going to miss one drop.

2. Size of clan. A smaller clan has a limited number of people that can participate in boss groups. A dominant clan has many people of high enough lvl to do so and many that can easily solo the 4*s. While smaller clans have people that can solo them as well, the odds of being able to camp without a member of the dominant clan there and calling for help when they see someone is slim. Also, with larger clans, people are able to get drops during "off times" for a majority of the clan because they still have the bodies to take the boss.

3. Loyalty. While I am not saying that your clan isn't loyal, dominant clans tend to draw people who know how to utilize the clan to their best interests. It happens with all clans and usually someone who feels that they have reached their potential in a smaller one tries to move to the dominant one. I know that when Bada was the big clan, many people were kicked because they were either suspected of or caught selling drops. I can't imagine that Bada was the only clan ever where this happened. It also goes back to clan size. The more people you have, the harder it is to keep track of them all.

4. Precedence. A clan member of mine was recently able to buy a full Comrack set. Your clan has been doing its best to monopolize those drops. Other clans have gotten them but they are incredibly valuable to that clan. There are people that have never been in res or Bada that have Hrung and Mordy drops. Those had to have come from somewhere.

Granted, this is based on the assumption that it's your clan that is selling the drops. It's easy to see why people would come to that conclusion.

Good to hear. We take care of it internally too. Now if the person who was exiled from Arawn in disgrace, who gave away his ranger to a friend which was reported and banned, can be civil and stay on topic I think we can have a productive conversation about the merits of buying and selling dl drops. I would hate for this to devolve into "sad" posts about locking this topic "bro".
