I think the game needs to go more vertical than horizontal
Crafting would be nice
Developing a maze type area that has requires timing and logic to advance.
Developing more daily quests
Develop some kind of arcade type element
I want to log, kill some stuff, and then get back to RL.
Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#32I hear ya. MUCH less camping and grinding. I tell everyone CH stands for Camping Heroes.
My concern about crafting is it will be either camping rare mobs to collect drops for crafting OR Grinding in the form of collecting a large number of items needed for crafting. Worse would be a combination of the two.

Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#33We need more things that are short-time based, daily prizes and challenges (maybe, just maybe add daily dungeon ?:)), mini-games or small challenges that can be done at least several times a day, and so on.

Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#34You don't even know me. I'm never in the arena, its a waste of time. I just wait for someone to ask me to duel and i duel and win. Lost once.. To. A warrior ...make a noob alt and level it a bit before just putting it in the arena and attacking everyone who comes in, especially people much stronger.
So don't prejudge me by thinking i sit in the arena bud

Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#35the challenge is logging on long enough to actually do anything
Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#36the challenge is to stay awake long enough when camping and not throw your phone in frustration when Killain respawns after 1hr 30 minutes.

Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#39At level 123 I can safely say that I too feel the games repetitive nature. After all this is a sandbox mmorpg the last time I checked. I'm a former elite Everquest player so I know true mmorpg gameplay and experience. Celtic Heroes is good for casual gaming, it's not really a big mmorpg (considering PC mmorpgs like Everquest) but it has its charms.
That said, yes this game needs more content, an auction house would be great for the economy. More zones keep people happy, especially zones designed for high level characters ( 200 and up zones ). This would result in 190s feeling like time is worth spending on this game. Imagine a zone that is full of new quest and mobs never before seen thats strictly 200 and up. Sales would skyrocket and a new wave of fresh players would poor into the game in order to experience the best the game has to offer. Of course this would need to keep happening if players become too advanced for level 200 zone in order to keep the passion alive.
Whoever is atop the OTM ladder makes these decisions, I'm a tester for mmorpgs who knows these types of things cost both time and money.

Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#40At the level of difficulty the mobs get at 190+ I'd be terrified of a increase in the level cap.
