Great thread... gave me something entertaining to read while I ate my lunch at work...

All this over a dagger that is worth 50 gold at the vendor, and isn't as good as the shoreline dagger you get for free by doing a quest.

Sorry Dilmorak, but the original post made me laugh just to begin with, as it is a ridiculous thing to bring to the forums... if you don't like someone spamming or whatever, either block them, turn shouts off or challenge them e.g. "OK thanks, we get it!".

It's a funny thing being a lowerish level character, I never get any troubles on my druid, but log into an alt of a lower level and suddenly all the silly kids want to whisper you stuff like has happened to iGrift, or they want to buy your good gears for next to nothing... it does become tiresome...

I do beleive that this has happened, as it has happened to me too... the guy is still around too... I think... i dont want to say the name incase I get it wrong... anyway he was whispering me all sorts of Nazi stuff...

Yeah so how bout we shut down this silly thread that shouldn't have been here in the first place...

He is accusing you of Spam on a forum, I mean it's like putting a billboard up in a residential neighborhood about someone jaywalking. It's an overblown concept.

That said, this guy didn't ever do anything racist, yer accusing him just by association which is moronic and plain ignorant. For all you know this guy who tried to scam you lied to his friend about you, and he's just reporting what he knows. Yer reading the freaking bible at him like he needs to be exorcised for his demons. But he didn't do crap to you, other than to say: hey stop spamming the channel. Next time he should just block you.

That said, he can't delete the post. He CAN edit it, to absolutely NOTHING and just post "Editted and removed in all his posts" and you can do the same after he does that.

The fact is people are racist, antisemitic, bigots, homophobes and hatemongerers and you are gonna hafta deal with it. Just SS when it happens and email those pics to support. It's the best way to get this stuff dealt with.

But long story short, some guy scammed you and yer flipping out your anger on his friend. Just drop it, you said yer peace, the guy said his and edited his post. Just let it go. It's a totally unfair topic to you and then to him now.

I'm not going to say you points aren't valid Tea, because they very much are, but I want to be clear on something. My issue wasn't that a guy tried to scam me, it was that Dil started a thread that lied about my conduct in game and defending Gorkill by suggesting I am lyin about him being a racist scammer while Gorkill is spamming racist remarks my way. I'm angry specifically that Dil started a slanderous thread about me, and continually defends a racist. Even on my thread he still goes on to say it's over between me an him, he changed his posts yada yada...but he still remarks that it's 50/50 Gorkill said those things! He is still partially defending him even though people are saying that Gorkill's behavior is pretty common place in the game unfortunately. That's my issue, but you are not incorrect either, Tea, and I changed my original posts on this thread so we can move on. I just still don't think highly of Mr. Dilmorak for starting this thread in the first place.
