People always want new things. IMO, the yearly updates are a load of 'meh, meh and meh' stuck together, with 1 or 2 'woops''.

Need mini-games. Different types of currency (like points for winning in a specific mini-game to trade in for fashion, usable items or xp).

I hate the 'working on challenging gameplay' sentence. The biggest challenge in this game when I started was the competition. 3-4 different clans at Falgren hoping to win an FFA. Timed spawns so you didn't have to camp around for hours to possibly lose. Was in the least dominant of 3 clans back then, and still logged every hour that I could for Falgren, if I was not already online, because what is 5 minutes out of your day if a 4* spawns or your non-dominant clan loses the boss?

Your game is based on competition (at least that's your reasoning for open-world bosses), but you're now making a game that is impossible to have competing clans on end-game bosses, because the bosses are so difficult. Stick them in an INSTANCE, open world bosses should not require more than 8 toons to kill - that's a full group.
I would agree with less players for bosses, but I mean atm theres like 5 endgame bosses including Garanak, I think that the items are quite exclusive because of this and should be hard to obtain. If there were more bosses in general then Id agree that it should take smaller groups. The whole player base is already focused on those 5 bosses, so its not hard to find a group of 40 due to the lack of options.

Our clan would be half the size it is if we didn't need multi groups for Mordris and Necro. :o

Bosses reward is limited to a group of eight, even though it take 20 plus toons to kill. As a druid, I cannot remember the last time I actually got gold from a boss.

What's ironic is that it was the players in the non-dominant clans who wanted bosses to have a random spawn time, thinking it would be better for them if players just happen to "chance upon a boss". I've said before that it would simply making camping excessive and is detrimental to the game. Too bad OTM listened to them and look at what we have now.

Bosses used to have exact spawn times? Wow... That would be so much better lol.

make a noob alt and level it a bit before just putting it in the arena and attacking everyone who comes in, especially people much stronger.
You don't even know me. I'm never in the arena, its a waste of time. I just wait for someone to ask me to duel and i duel and win. Lost once.. To. A warrior ...

So don't prejudge me by thinking i sit in the arena bud
Ummm... What?
I didn't make this post about you or to you. No need to get all in a huff, I was just joking about how they could make the game more "challenging" for themselves.

I actually really hope the rivalry between the two big clans in Sulis never ends. It is great fun, really. Sub clans start to form caught in the cross fire, people call names, hypocrites move to opposing clan etc.

Clan wars are really fun IMO, they have a really realistic aspect to them, sometimes you can get or inflict hurtful words.

They are especially fun when you aren't in either clan and they are duking it out in the arena while you pick off the people with low health on a lower level character while snarking.

Yes, the best times in CH were when multiple clans will arrive 5mins before a boss spawn and duke it out.
Now, it's whoever can stomach camping for 1-2 hours.
