Re: Why Clan Them?

I don't especially need to be in relent to hear some of the things that you guys have done to some of our clannies.(this is not to say I don't like certain people in relentless.)
EDIT sorry i think i got too sentimental on my last post, and didn't quite comprehend your statement.

By "things that you guys have done to some of our clannies" do you mean losing locks on most dl bosses or just the friendly banter you guys like to start while camping.

I dont recall us doing anything too extreme to you guys, apart from that war in arena. I cant state my opinion on that as i was not present there and cannot simply believe word per word what my own clannie or the opposing clan states.

I believe I was referring to the arena war(also some of our members were ksed on killian). Also, not all banter by some of your members was "friendly". However most of that stuff is ok ATM.

Quercos with all due respect, you havnt experienced Relentless first hand at all. We are not in any shape or form like MD.

We have worked our way to the top by simply, being relentless. Our clansman are all valued and everyone is treated fairly, we dont roll on raid drops so people wont sell.
What I'm saying is that both clans are hellbent on DL (that's the point of the game to many players). Both are comprised largely of great people and old players who have a lot in common. Both have a few stinkers. Both have fine leadership. Both afford their members a certain amount of autonomy. Both think they are awesome.

Blah....The similarities outnumber the differences.

In the broad spectrum (very broad) I have noted 2 general sorts of players
1. The ones who play an MMO to kill the big bad monster and get the cool new stuff/gear. These are the more competitive sorts. That's totally fine. Clans like MD and Relent will always have this in common.
2. The ones who play to socialize and use the game as downtime from work, or to just level a bit. Much less serious (like me). Clans like Quadrillion will attract those players.

It's all an ebb and flow. When differences are set aside and we step back and look at the big picture, we find we are all just here to have fun.

I would fit into clan type number 1

i sortve doubt that otherwise u would be lvl 190 or atleast close, which means u may play the game seriously but not enough to care about taking down the "big boss"
Lol, I am very competitive. I just don't have the time to level.

It has dawned on me that when I took my 4 month hiatus I only told a few close friends why I was dropping off the map from CH. I didn't think Clan them would crumple tbh but since my return I have been told time and again that my departure really changed that Clan's dynamic. To all those players who feel I abandoned you: All deepest apologies.
So for those that didn't know: I left mid-April because a friend commit suicide. As a psych nurse who sees suicidality and depression weekly I thought I would've seen signs. I didn't and I was blown sideways. My perspective for the game and RL changed. I didn't make it widespread knowledge because it was too painful. I hope you all understand why I needed to drop out and clear my head. It's been about 5 months and I'm in a good headspace and back in the game but with new eyes.
I miss Clan them every day I log in but I understand all to well that you have to let go of some things and start fresh or you'll go bonkers ruminating on what was.
Come say hello to me anytime and if you like, try on my new clan Quadrillion if you miss your ole Uncle Q.
