Increasing level cap

Based on what I've learned on the forums, the level cap has increased with each new map on the updates. With the arrival of Gelebron's tower soon, the level cap will most likely rise again with the addition of higher level mobs. Does this mean that with every update the level cap rises?? In a few years will we be seeing level 600s running around soloing the likes of Aggy or Snorri etc??

it's entirely possible if the cap continues up.

Even now, Aggy can be killed (so i hear) with a group of 6 people in some cases. A massive tank with one druid, and 4 dps can destroy aggy quickly.

But if they modify the bosses (as they have in the past), it's entirely possible to tweak most to make them un-soloable (yeah, that's not a word). Just look at 140 weapon boss, or even the 90 weapon boss. Both are exceedingly difficult for the low level they are. It's really just how you skill the bosses, and place adds around them. (think aggy before fast spawn wyverns, and post fast spawn the level of difficulty initially changed significantly).

If the current bosses increased in power to suit the rising level cap, then it wouldn't be fair on players who should be able to take Aggy but can't because OTM are worried about level 800s soloing :/

Uhh i think it would be best for the OTM to work on other stuff instead of mostly areas and increasing the lvl cap. Like e.g. Working on lux for like lvl 200, because the LV200+ players wont have to use the lvl 150 lux but 200 :) Thanks for reading.

I kinda agree...OTM should stop with raising the level cap. However they definitely need to focus more on other areas to give more options of places to level. But most of all they need to get AWAY from lux. I would love it if in upcoming areas the bosses/mobs dropped jewelry and weapons equal to or better then lux items. People shouldn't have to spend dozens of hours farming in order to get something they cant play without.

Oh for f--- sake, why increase level cap?

Just add horizontal content. We need an auction house, a dungeon, more raid bosses, real mounts, class balance, pvp areas, more story based quests, list can go on.

I hope you've learned wrong and there is no level crap increase, leveling is an arduous and sad act for lv 190+ This is why we prefer to do dailies instead of endless boring grinding.

On other game, it was impossible to max all skills (but u could max almost all) with lvl cap of 60, so they made it possible to get enough xp (250k, its a lot there) and its like u lvl after 60 (but stay 60) and u get special prize, it can be items and another skill point.

But OTM won't. Level 200s will get bored so OTM will add new maps with level 200 mobs so that the current 200s won't become bored, and so the level cap will inevitabley rise

Isn't the hard cap level 240?
No during a glitch where you leveled every mob people got into the 400+. Wulver on taranis is lvl1000.

Admin has not only said the mobs levels will rise (probably 240 if I were to guess) but that there will be new armor past DL.

It's the main reason I'm not pushing to go 200 at all costs this late in the update. No point blowing 10m in lix for a few levels that I can train in 5 hours after update.
