can't connect to server

I am having problems connecting to the server.
It once took me almost 15 minutes to connect.
It is not my wifi because my husband and son can sit right next to me and connect fine using their iphones or ipads.
I have also tried wifi in other places and still get the same error message.
Error message is Cannot Connect To Server, Unable to contact server, Please try again later.
If this problem persists please turn off your device fully and back on again. If you still have trouble......
I have turn off my phone, I have deleted and reinstalled the game.
I have followed all suggestions offered on the help forum.
I have been playing since May and have just encountered this problem in the past month.

Yes I've tried several different connections and get the same message. Eventually I get on, but usually takes several tries.
And once I'm on it will lag a lot and then boot me. Which is very inconvienent when killing a boss or leveling with a group.
I think it has to do with my device. All our other Apple devices work fine with the game.
Are there any specific settings that need to be set?
For example push notifications settings, Bluetooth, or game center?

you would want ch to be the only running(double tap home button and slide up on the others apps…they won't be deleted from your phone, they just won't be running and taking up battery). you may also want to delete unnecessary apps on your phone you don't use or need

Ninjas really are the best. I was going to ask have you tried what this person has said. Close other running apps etc. Hope it works for you soon.
