Hello folks!
I'm having performance issues, the game doesn't run smooth at all. Framerate goes between 10-50 fps but often stays on 20-ish fps.
I read that Celtic Heroes consume lots of memory but I got 3 GB of RAM and only 1.2 GB is used while running the game.
I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) and running Android 4.4.2.
Phone is rooted, and I have tried following tweaks with GLTools:
Lowering the resolution
Smaller texture scales
16-bit rendering
Shader Optimizer
I get a boost of 5-10 frames on lowest game settings with GLTools but that's still not smooth enough. In groups, the framerate drops to 10-15 and it's unplayable.
I also tried flashing latest official rom and reinstall the game after but the issue is still there and I'm out of ideas.
Fix please

Hi Thule
We have the game running on a Note 3 here and are not experiencing the issues you describe.
In groups, boss battles and other memory intesive areas the framerate is always likely to drop but we have not experienced anything like what you describe on that device.
The amount of RAM should not be the issue in this case as the game is not crashing. Usually in situations like this it is usually either the CPU or the GPU that causes the issue.
I know you mentioned above that device is rooted so obviously we do not know exactly what changes you may have made to the device fom the standard setup. We have had some reports of people experiencing performance issues when using the Cyanogen mod on a few devices.
You also mention having used GLTools to attempt to modify the way the game is played and suggest that you are using an fps counter. Using any debug tools at all will affect the performance of the game as they will be using the processor at the same time. We do not recommend running debug on the game during play. Some users have also reported that having a number of widgets installed on the device can effect performance as these constantly update in the background. Also it is best to ensure that there is nothing running in the background for the same reason, you might have more than enough RAM but every additional application running will put more strain on your processor.
Also please try to ensure that the game is stored on internal device memory as we have also had some issues with people running the game off an SD apple in the Note 3. This doesn't appear to affect all devices but does seem to cause issue on the Note 3 for some reason.
I hope some of that helps as it can be particularly difficult to support Android devices due to the huge number of devices and possible setups.
Let me know if it improves.
Thanks
