What they need to do for the next gear set is lower your armor compared to rogues (considering you don't get AOEd) and have raw damage bonuses on each pierce of gear, like beast bone gear but jacked up.
Nope. We rangers solo too. And dont start off about bolas. If we use it, our energy gets drained fast and we sacrifice a really needed dmg skill. A ranger without energy is a dead ranger whan fighting a mob his/her lvl.
Get over yourself. My warrior has 700 sigils and still has energy issues. Mages with 3000 still have energy issues. You don't know the meaning of energy issues.

EDIT:
Aren't you always complaining about how rangers have no damage skills? Are damage skills so abundant that you can't fit a single survivability skill into your build?

Get over yourself. My warrior has 700 sigils and still has energy issues. Mages with 3000 still have energy issues. You don't know the meaning of energy issues.

Well dude, if u wanna use sigs, then u have to kill the mob to have the sigs kick in. Only prob is. Unless the mob has half ur health, then the mobs kick u in the gut. Meditate is a sssssssllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwwww regen skill, and lux only regens like 50 every 5 seconds. 50 energy is 1 skill or less. Ur warrior probably uses shatter maxed. Cause of the duration, u kinda have to use it again and again, which eats up energy. And mages, I agree that some of their skills have mad energy costs, but they have more points per stat cause they only need 2 stats, vit and foc. We melee classes need 3. Dex, vit and str. U warriors can go full str. Rogues have a use for both dex and str builds, str has sneaky, dex has ss. At high lvls, rogues still have a use for both builds. We rangers, at lower lvls, find str easier. But then if we max up support skills, which dmg skill do we use? The max no of skills u can max at once are 5-6. Meditate, lh, bandagewounds. Sharpenweps and steady aim. Now. Tell me. Which skill would go good with this build. All support skills. Ls can only be used once. Double need str, and this build is mainly dex. Sharp is bad with any build.

Maybe your ranger is so underpowered is because he uses meditate bandage and light heal. And yes, autos SHOULD suck dex build(double is based off auto). You do realize that if a rogue goes full dex his quickstrike, sneaky, double, rend and overall damage drops. With rangers you just need the right balance and you can be amazing all around.

I just realized, why do rangers not have a str based equivalent to assassinate or sneaky?
Because their dps shouldn't match rogues with their increased survivability. It however, does match on endgame bosses. Perhaps a nerf? :lol:
