I agree, skill damage is lacking. Making sharp comparable to ss with the insta-cast would be quite nice, a royal ring or so and it might be worth using for something other than a taunt for newbie bosses.

Rangers should have no skills that compare to shadowstrike based off dex.

Sharp is decent at low lvls then at higher lvls all the dmg boost gear and lack pf regens makes skills build useless/not feasible

+1 I heard on iOS it was insta cast but on android theres a cast time and an awful delay..

If a rogue went full strength shadowstrike would be garbage. You need to put Dex to make a Dex based skill strong.

It actually wouldn't. I've used shadowstrike on full str rogue at 150+ and my shadowstrike damage was 1.5-2k

You forgot the fact that you had +9 EXTRA ss from rings. 44 ss for me does 3.5k easily. When i use my hrung helm pure dex i land around 5.7k ss every so often. It does suck with just str

They're a ranger speed is kinda their thing, an auto skill attack isn't outta the question...

Its not, it interrupts an auto, and is worse dmg than quickstrike. What sharp shot should be is free dmg, just like quickstrike.


We do not have any skills that can compare to ss. True. Do I particularly want one, or would I rather have all our other BROKEN skills fixed? I would totally go for OTM fixing everyone's skills that we already have rather than add a few new ones.

This is something that broke the balance with auto and sharpshot dmg. The melee dmg boost from current gear to rangers makes sharpshot not worth using, but like Quick Strike, if sharpshot would be free dmg it would be worth using even when its weaker than melee (but it could be better as str based).
