It seems otm is always doing resets at the beginning of their work day, which equates to about 2-4am USA time. Thus most players miss out on the reset content since their was no advance notice and we are sleeping. I enjoy the surprise if a reset, but could you alternate it between the beginning and end of your work day, please.

From my observations, they are mostly 6-7 am est.

This is why you might see a lot of non North American players with higher points on their respective clan rosters. I've got nothing to complain about though, setting up an alarm for 8:00 AM ( Atlantic timezone ) raids are fun! :mrgreen:

I personally like server resets, the only problem is the timing lol. They are almost always between 5-7 am my time, so i miss em...

However they are nice due to the fact almost all bosses are up. My clan got Ythair this morning, and he dropped rad bp lol.

*edit* just noticed Shazta beat me to it....tsk tsk.


Also, Sulis has seen two 190 weapon bosses so far, so I guess Sulis might be lucky lol.

Yes I think we can all agree that server resets are good, because all the bosses pop and rarely a rare spawn will pop too. What this post is about is that resetting those rare spawn timers could actually prevent rare spawn bosses from spawning on a regular basis.

It sounds though like no one is bothered by this though, so I guess it's not as big of a problem as I thought it was!

It is annoying, its just that the bosses that dont spawn are crap.

You're not alone. I've commented on it twice before, with regard to the reset of the rare mob respawn windows, as well as it being done at odd hours.

I don't really have a problem with it, the rare bosses shouldn't be predictable IMO. Don't really think they should still be spawning at all.
Well like say the spawn time for an event mob is 3 months. I can't be on every second of the day for 3 months. But I can say, "hey that guy was killed 2.5 months ago... he should be spawning within the next 30 days?" But right now you don't know if a boss is ever going to spawn because the server resets keep changing the timer. Theoretically multiple server resets could make a boss never spawn. I don't like that.
