I have said before that this game by happenstance, or by design, is set in such a way as to bring people into conflict with each other. Whether it be limited resources, xp quests in pvp areas, overcrowding, or any number of other factors... And that's not even counting the addition of resetting.
Despite this however, it is not right to lay all, or even the majority of blame, squarely at OTM's door.
OTM may have given us this island, but it us, after all, that have chosen to reenact the 'Lord of the flies' here.
Resetting is not the beast... The beast is us.
In time hopefully, the company shall address resetting, but unless we take responsibility for our own shortcomings, it shall simply be a case of placing a bandage over a festering wound.
There is always much talk of being the best clan, but I think we need to start by considering our definition of best.
If our sole definition of best is obtain the most bosses, and to forsake any thought of responsibility that should come with power, then I say we far from being the best in any real sense at all.
We should aspire to much more than just a base adherence to survival of the fittest.
What about being the best sports? The most friendly, and the most helpful? The most honourable, and the most courteous?
For me it is these latter principles (amongst others) that would mark true excellence.
As terrible a thing as resetting seems to most people, perhaps in time we may come to view it as a blessing in disguise. We may even find we are better for having gone through it, and once it has become a thing of the past.
In this moment, resetting is fanning the flames of hatred, no question about it, but maybe it can yet be made a flame of renewal.
By bringing about a stalemate between clans, it not only prevents a dominance that none has shown ready for presently, but also may be a means of bringing people to the table.
It is not an easy road, and it is as long as it is hard. Yet baby steps, may someday lead to a run at pace.
I do not expect, or even ask, for either side to cease resetting activities. The first order of business should be the little things... The aforementioned baby steps.
Whether a boss is lost or won, and via reset or otherwise, then let us be magnanimous in defeat, and gracious in victory.
Let us aid rivals on their gladiators, and welcome them with open arms when they need the xp tree.
Most importantly of all, when camping for bosses, let us not bait and goad one another... Take time to chat and get first to know the person you would call enemy, and before you start to mark them such.

Now if you'll all excuse me,  I'm off to try and convince the Blackstone cabal to form a friendship circle, and to sing hymns whilst hugging dryads in the otherworld.

Easy answer to both clans getting necro. Have same amount of ppl from both clans temporary leave their clan n form a new one under shiv or dorn as both are fair. Have the other two clans defeat adds n new clan under whoever attack necro. Shiv or dorn or whoever splits the drops n gives to generals in both clans. End of how to do necro cept planing. Shiv is a family person n dorn is over 40 n plays cuz he's a game player from ages past.

This is a horribly over complicated plan and very few Ascension members would agree to have either of those two handle drops as both have leanings towards kudos. I don't think anyone would be willing to leave their respective clans to jump into a new clan for a single kill

Horrible idea im guessing David is in kudos or nitro. Like queef said ether lean hard towards kudos so not trustworthy solution. Also that being said. If 20 top ascension and 20 top kudos jojned forces the damage done to necro would still be 75-80% done by ascension posdibly more due to the amount of there top toons that would have to be dual logged( and we know u cant do what you need to at necro while dueled on two dps) and personally i dont even see them having 20 190+ members in clan that cant help. Its also the fact that some of there top clannies have been kicked from ascension/. Prime for selling drops, using sexual and/or racial slurs, etc. its one thing to share with someone another to share with those that really dont deserve( in that matter they dont desreve to be in any clan or get any drop they cant solo). Sorry only try and tell how i feel personally. Others might have different opinions and thats great. But my vote unless things are changed is a no to grouping them at any boss besides maybe redbane.

The only thing clear here is that they are no Legends here.

All I see are political pundits blinded by their own clan biases, preventing themselves to see Danu on a macro scale. And while toons keep justifying resets while attempting to claim higher clan moral, it is painfully obvious to any rational thinking gamer that this is a paradox and contradiction. Keep yanking boggans out of position while the server bleeds members like a hemorrhage.

So basically no one want to kill necro. Just remember as both u clans reset on each other will u b doing the same to new clans rising up? Probably so ,but that not why my clan is here. We will never be large as prime, ascention kudos , nitro or any other clan. We are here for fun. But the constant cussing from both sides are making us choose a different server. Rhiannon has prob but ppl there are willing to help it's where my main is n where we will all prob stay we thought of staying but all the bossing n no grouping outside help hurts all needing quest. All it takes is a warm hand to help someone who could use a friend or two. I'll prob pop in n visit as there are some nice ppl on danu but I think we will stay on rihannion since too many here don't like helping all just themselves

Ascension has no rule about helping lower levels. Only certain bosses we dont group outta clan. And if your server does that more power to them, im guessing its run by one gigantic clan that has no one to have competion with. If it does have competition and your helping other clans gear to get stronger to go against you, then its really not competition is it? U might as well open clan banks to them while your at it. Why do bosses at all if everyone is grouped as one? Whats the point honestly? And if you read my post you would see that at this time, there is no benefit for us to group on necro only to give drops to a rival clan that really wont be helping that much. I dont know what else to say. I wish we could all share lolly pops, hold hands,and skip down the tunnels together, but thats not what this game was ment to be. It was ment to be a competition.

The only political pundit, as you put it, is you Baison. Your rhetoric doesn't improve anything and in all honesty, it makes me want to try less. I don't understand the constant pointing to an old post by RA that has very little bearing on the current state of Danu. A good leader will do what they need for the ones they lead. They won't bend to outside pressure to make a move that will,in the end, hurt their members.

You may not see Ascension and Kudos bossing together as a bad thing, but many of the points in smeagle's post cannot be ignored. This server thrives on competition and many of the members enjoy it for that exact reason. In what way does it benefit Ascension to drop end game gear on a clan who has made it their mission to harass us on end game bosses? Especially gearing some of the same people who were geared in Prime, then were kicked for various reasons. As cyprus said, the mentality of "well if we cant kill it, why should we let you kill it" is the current driving force behind the issues.

danu just going sideways but gradually slipping on a monthly basis .....look at the inactivity/quit levels its horrendous as time goes by

you can clearly tell.......is that some member/members do take things to personal over a game

and are hellbent on permanet throwing spanners in the works to suit there thought pattern (not realising the future consequences it has)
