Yes, we have a problem with a couple of players killing people in line for Killain (I witnessed this today). This needs to be addressed in the arena not by boss bans. We reserve bans for scamming ,selling DL items, etc.

First of all, standard PvP is fine. According to arena etiquette on Lugh:

1. Don't attack people in line for their gladiator.
2. Don't be a bully. Killing low level toons, ganging up on people, etc is unacceptable.

Our usual way of dealing with this is:
1. Defend those being bullied or attacked in the gladiator line.
2. If this doesn't work, we escalate to killing the offenders on sight in the arena.

I have heard the excuse of "I was provoked". Usually by someone putting their toon on top of yours or trash talk. This is no excuse. If someone wants to be an arse and park on your toon, just ignore this childish behavior. "Trash talk" is easily solved with the block button.

I am willing to defend anyone who is attacked while waiting in line for a gladiator or is being bullied.
It is no secret that rangers suck at PvP but I will do my best to help enforce arena etiquette in Lugh.

Who is willing to help me out with this?

in fact i agree with both of u. Roger is in fact right, but some people won't stop no matter what.... I think this is a good topic to discuss the next step if roger's solution doesn't work
I have had reasonable interactions with these folks in the past. So, I am fairly optimistic that they will see reason if we provide a unified front against bad behavior.

I will be behind you on this. It is the same people anyway that do these things in the arena. Three letter names and one associated with a calamitous event. They go to the point of lixin up themselves and shout explicit vulgar thoughts. It seems that these kids uses CH as an outlet of what they are deprived of irl...

They ksed a clanny twice already, I called on support from other clans as well. This person almost does not wanna do arena no more because of these incidents

Point here, in Lugh if you are in line for a glad, you should be able to do your dailies.

true. i am just saying what is the plan if they don't. main problem is i think that arena is a pvp area where killing is allowed. And some of these people, (can't say a name(naming and shaming etc.) do it just for pvp.

I agree with roger about banning for arena activity. However, i think it sets a bad example when we tolerate verbal abuse as a community. The 'rules of lugh' have become so liberal that you can conduct yourself in a completely antisocial manner with no consequences. As long as you didn't sell DL or get caught scamming you are given the same privileges as the most upstanding citizens. Personally, I'm not even against selling DL but i'm disgusted with what i have seen lately out of the players you are speaking of. To me this behavior is worse than selling a quest item.

Just my thoughts,
