Armor vs Health

#1
I couldnt find a topic on this unless i didnt look hard enough. which is better to have, armor or health?
Protective stance maxed really does make a difference but when im dps i use frenzy.
I notice I take alot more damage without stance. If i stacked up on health items would that be just as good as having stance?
Hopefully someone understands what i said.

Overall it's gear based-- however due to percentage based armour defense and hp lixs, vitality/hp focused builds with a hint of dps generally preform the best, albeit slower.
So point for point, vitality beats out strength

He's referring to stacking up items with health bonuses so he can use frenzy instead of pro stance. Not vit vs. Str. Most are aware, I'm sure, that vit is the most powerful all around stat.
What is posted above may or may not be valid.

Well imo both armor & hp are very important. It also depends on what way you're getting your hp add from.
If you obtain your hp from a vitality add rather then direct boost your vitality based skills will also go up.
Depending on what type of armor gear it is I'd use over direct hp boost.
For example, I have a 100 armor, 350 defence, 300 melee combat brace and I'd most likely use it over 50/50 vit/dex riftskull because of the fact that if I were to get technical 350 defence is 175 dex and 100 armor allows me to lose less health in the longrun. So in certain situations either one could be better.

Actually armor makes a dmg less by a fair amount I did some testing on the wraiths in OW and 200 armor saves about 50 hp so 400 armor would save 100 hp and so on but I would say vit is better than armor but defense is also key too
If a boss does 1000 dmg to you sure you can survive some hits but if there is not a lot of druids defense is key
Ex. You have 6k hp
You dodge 3 out of 6 attacks and have time for the druids to heal you back to hp
You take 6 out of 6 attacks at almost dead druids heal you but now ur back to 50%
defense is more effective in some scenarios
Just my two cents
Flamingduckee- lvl 155+ druid full froZen
FlamingDPS- lvl 86 rouge
Flaminghawk- lvl 20 mage
