People will naturally stop killing aggy the same way they stopped killing falgren, once enough things surpass aggy's drops it will be hardly visited by the highest levels unless they intend on creating an alt.
I don't think people will naturally stop killing Aggy in the coming years. Falgren dropped dragon discs, something that most servers have an abundance of due to the spawn rate of falgren.

Aggy drops almost 4k gold, has a 2-5 day spawn rate and drops 4 items that are arguably better than lux items for a while. People WILL camp and kill to sell drops. With the point system some clans may have, aggy is killed just for points as well. Not all servers are restricted to Lugh's roll policy.

I dont know which world you live on but high levels still camp falgren to sell drops for 5-10k. You're statement blows my mind. ;)
Im not familiar with lugh. Could someone explain the roll policy?

On my world any clan that can demonstrate they can kill aggy is put into a scheduled rotation. There is rarely griefing and anyone who can behave long enough to get into a mid level clan has a chance to get loot. The bracelet and ring drops are good enough even end game players will want some to supplement thier ability to do specific builds for bosses.

One reason i like my server is despite differences and the occasional rampaging ahol raid bosses tend to be orderly which works out better for every decent person on the server.
It's not a restriction, everyone who shows up and is of level and on time gets to roll on any drop that is non-classed or their class with a max of one item won per fight.

If a lower level wants a boss they will get a raid group at or above the level of the boss and camp. If you don't care enough to camp with friends, you don't deserve it at that level.

I see what you are saying and i agree.

But I may not have made my point clearly. When 150-ish (pre Carroway) was the level cap everyone over a certain level (140?) had a chance to do Aggy. Clans or individuals could camp etc.

Now several high level groups (or soon individuals) will have the same chance to be there (knowing the schedule) and kill it as an appropriate level group.

The answer is not to say "level up to 190" because this content was made for characters 140 to 150 to enjoy. If you level up then its no challenge. Also I did say OTM needs new high level content BEFORE locking Aggy from high levels.


Anyway i know from nearly 2 years in this game that things will just stay the same in regards to Bosses, quest or non quest. CH is becoming top heavy player level wise so maybe it doesn't make sense to look after lower level players.

The fact you're suggesting to restrict customers from playing what they pay for blows my mind. Don't even start with the 'but I don't buy plat so I'm not their customer' crap either, I don't buy play but I can tell you right now if nobody bought plat I wouldn't be 191, hell I wouldn't even be playing this game as it wouldn't exist.

People will never stop camping aggy it drops one of the best drops in game for casters, most endgame casters use aggy bracelets and aggy rings also many use aggy grim until dl wep , all fal dropped was drag disc and crown disc which is for a warden quest but thats really all (maybe a profit but not worth it anymore)
Also, many skills are not on any rings from mordris. If you want any good ward or lure rings, you need to kill aggy.

Okay and what happens when new bosses arrive and more gear choices are available? I never said all people will stop killing aggy, the post was directed at higher level players.

If you all really think aggy will hold the best gear and be actively farmed by a majority of capped 240's where the 150's hve no chance then why are you still here playing? That implies the game has no future.

No it implies the loot system is messed up, no aggy loot should be better than hrung, mordris, necro loot, but unfortunately it is so for the foreseeable future, high lvl clans will continue to kill him. This is on otm, the players have complained countless times regarding loot, it falls on deaf ears. Otm have the power to stop it but looks like they dont want to

A 240 group would have to do 3.3 times the dps to lock over a group of 150-170 (50% to lock vs. 15%). That is why OTM put in target lock. The only time this isn't true is when so many different groups compete no one locks and loot is given to the group with the most damage regardless of level.

I don't know what magic gear you might get in the new update but as it stands with current bosses the higher levels get locked out already - unless they make overpowered lower levels and game the target lock system. When done right a multidevice/multialt user(s) can not only lock end game people out of mid game bosses but players of the appropriate level as well.

Not in my experience. While no one knows what 240 will bring my clan regularly lost commrak battles to another clan because our clan had tons of 180+ while theirs had tons of 170-. Since our average level was 190+ and theirs 165 ish we needed to do 25-30% to lock while they needed 15%. Your dps dosen't double from 165-190. Even with imperial and godly hrung/mordris items and garanak sets vs aggy items and commrak sets.

I wasn't able to get my alt rogue army to 150 in time for the last event but its coming soon and specifically to game target lock.

Yea but the level difference between 165 and 180 isn't high... difference between 150-240 is 90

And you subtract 20 from the target lock 20 Lvl buff, so the 240's need 35% more dmg to lock aggy than a group of 150-170.

If you have a full group of 180's at Comrak, you need to do only 5% more damage to lock it. The thing is, the lock percent is based on the highest level player in your group. So a group of 180's and a 200 would need 15% extra to lock because of the 200
