Re: Ebola Catastrophy
#21Ebola is nothing we really need to start looking into herpagonasiphalitis imo.
They have isolated exactly 4 of those people and the rest they are monitoring twice daily.
Almost the complete opposite in the US Vold. Apparantly the hospital that the infected guy just gave him antibiotics sent him home after the fact that he said he came from Liberia. During that time hes been in contact with about 80 people, 5-6 being 5 year olds. Thats a possible massive outbreak right there. Its kind of scary even though I dont live there.
The CDC has confronted all the people who say theyve had contact and have put them in isolation... so lets hope it doesnt spread any further.
The reason why people are so worried about ebola is the high infection rate as well as the mortality rate.Ebola is nothing we really need to start looking into herpagonasiphalitis imo.
True. I'll bring a pocket knife around if all hell breaks loose. Final option: I'll move to Canda! This damn thread got me scared of it again, this thing is scary for many reasons and i dont wish to be in those infected's spots, in general deseases are pretty scary.
You will only be immune to the virus if it hasn't mutated! Chicken pox is caused by the Varicella-Zoster virus which infects for a first time but always remains as latent in the body (in our nervous system). When our immune system weakens, the virus that remains in our body can actually reinfect you, giving you what is commonly known as shingles. You can't catch it from others once you were infected because yes, we have antibodies against the virus with a strong enough immune system.Well according to some experts if you're infected once and live your chance to be infected again is dropped severely-- kind like "chicken-poks".
So go get your antibodies before it mutates,
JK Do not actually do that!!!
