As you can see from admin's response(bless his soul), it is okay to post such pics if one can find them. Not betatesters Ofcourse, since they are bound by some sort of contract? I think?

Beta testers are not bound to any contract. thats why I didn't took down the topic with the pictures. I even remembered the admin said that we are free to share screenshots. everybody just needs to understand this is beta and everything has a chance to be changed.

for now The Otherworld will have a make over. so the pictures will probably be your only chance to see how it once was. Just remember it like Lir's and farcrad castle now. They are also had a total make over.

So, I heard rumors in Sulis server today that Lorddragoon's account was banned for this mess. Can anyone confirm this. He's a good friend.

Not true, he is still a tester. He isn't banned. In truth he made an oversight that anyone could have made, and many people do but he came forward and tried to fix it and acted with transparency and honor. People just like to talk crap about good people.

I suspect that this didn't happen on the 'previous beta testers' watch' because of some (or all) of the following reasons:

a) there was nothing this significant in the previous betas to make such a kerfuffle over.
b) there were fewer 'active' beta testers over the lifespan of the previous beta rounds.
c) the previous beta rounds were not as lengthy as this one
d) someone intent on divulging 'forbidden pics' was able to find a testers' photo dump and post the photos therein.

At the end of the day, the admin doesn't seem too concerned with this issue, so I see no reason why anyone else should be either. Their main concern was that they would have preferred to keep SOME things a secret/surprise for the release, and they didn't want screenshots depicting thing that were NOT going to actually be in the release. Beta testers get barraged with info requests on these forums and in-game, and little leaks or tidbits have been passed around in every beta round, to be sure. The testers do not sign confidentiality agreements, so not much can be done about it anyway, if the developers viewed this as a serious infraction.

Regardless, I am pretty sure that there WILL still be some surprises to be found upon release, as well as in the mini-patches to follow, AND the otherworld is going to be getting a facelift (quite possibly before it is released) so these pics aren't really spoiling much. JuniorJr hasn't really blown the lid off of anything here, nor has he done the community a great service by releasing, save perhaps sating non-testers with some out-of-date images.
