Re: Judging interest in a new Ladder

@OP

Is there a reward for "winning" a ladder (getting the highest level)?

And on a side note…
Called "Reverse Engineer" of CH
^ What's up with this part of your sig? (how is this reverse engineering)
Last time infiniti donated some rare items like witches brew and pupleroots for the first 3 ppl to 40 and someone else donated a silver juve ammy for first to 50. Community said they would consider offering prizes too so we can ask them.

Reverse engineer meaning I figured out how CH worked on a mathmatical level like the graph of how many monsters you have to kill per level and how much damage reduction armor and resistance gives and an attack damage equation, how many points to put into lures and shatter ect. Most of the stuff can be found on the wisdom underground wiki.
A Mage is like a Lamborghini, You don't get one as your first car or daily driver and there are cheaper cars that go faster and are more comfortable anyway.

So since we have 4 votes sulis 4 votes belenus lets narrow it down between those 2. Everyone else that is interested in playing cast your vote on which of those 2 worlds you want it on and we can close voting sometime tomarrow.

I saw Papi's auto damage formula and your 3 spell damage formulas on the wisdom underground wiki.

Not including direct boosts from gear, spell damage takes into account these main factors:
1. Skill level (how many points invested)
2. Focus
3. Corresponding ability

Those 3 spell damage formulas are incorrect because they only scale with focus. Papi's auto damage formula is correct, but it was not done by you.

I don't think you can call yourself the "reverse engineer" of CH. Anéxander deserves that title.

Where were you swan when papi and I were reverse engineering the game? ;). And as I said I didn't give myself that title, others did. We have another vote for sulis on groupie.

Comparing you to Papi is like comparing my middle school science teacher to Isaac Newton.

Papi devised an extremely accurate auto damage formula, incorporating 4 factors: strength, weapon ability, physical damage, and elemental damage. Most importantly, the formula is correct, and still works well even today.

Your spell damage formulas are wrong, since they only account for 1 factor: focus. That is insufficient for actually determining spell damage—you need to know ability and skill level as well. They do not have any practical use since no one knows 1) what level your skills are at and 2) what your spell ability is. And even if with those numbers, they would still be useless because no one has the exact same skill levels and spell ability that you had when you made those formulas.

^ I call that a reverse engineering failure.
And as I said I didn't give myself that title, others did.
So other people edited your signature for you?

For your subpar work, you deserve a "good effort" sticker. But calling yourself the "reverse engineer of CH" is downright insulting and rather pretentious when you consider the real expert, Papi, and the database compiler, Anéxander (whose name is censored, not commended, by OTM for his work).
