contrary to the hype put out by media and the organic foods lobby there is absolutely nothing wrong with McDonald's food. It is on the salty and fatty side but for prepared food is quite inexpensive. The real problem with it is the value is too good, it's refinement and availability means its easy to consume a lot, and millions of years of starving ancestors to humans have geared us to want more of it than is healthy. Again there is nothng unhealthy about it as part of a balanced diet. So yes you can eat McDonald's for every meal and as long as you are balancing your fats, carbs, protein and otherwise balance your diet then yes.

Secondly while it is true fruits DO have more to them than just sugar and water the majority of most are just that. Try actually looking up how much fat and protein is actually in them and you will find that it is close to zero. Carbohydrates are from simple sugars like fructose and to some extent glucose and sucrose. There are no complex carbohydrates like starches in fruits. And while it's true there are vitimins, minerals, antioxidants these are really negligible in health benefits over common supplements.

Not sure how regular meat is a fruit. Are you the kind of person who will rage if I say a tomato is a fruit?

There is nothing besides dillution that is the usual culprit for reduced nutrition in juices over whole fruit besides the willful addition of sugar by manufacturers. Which just adds to the dillution. Juicing the fruit yourself is still just eating sugar water. Nutrition wise the reduction of these vitimins is through oxygenation, which is typically minimized during processing and storage and through high temperatures (pasteurizing) - which again is usually minimized through flash heating and cooling. So typically the vitimins are slightly less, minerals nearly identical.

There is nothing magic or spiritual about fruits. You are nearly as well off drinking sugar water (fructose based) with some crushed vitamin tablets in it. I'm sorry if science crushes your produce world view.

Additionally organic fruits are inferior, unsustainable, put a far bigger burden on the planet in terms of a carbon footprint and all in all just milk stupid people of their money. Locally grown is a different matter but they are often not organic.

I believe there are 3 types of Ebola (not quite sure), one with 90% mortality rate, one with 50% and one that has same signs (or similar) but seemed to not kill whoever had it, or so ive read.

evolutionary biology does have a serious theory for this. Humans used to live exclusively in small clans/village groups. Being violent and killing eachother was less successful than humans that were able to organize and get along. Over time this led to humans having those traits bred into them. So its pretty simple - killing randomly for no reason does not build as successful a society as one that is civil.

Given the nature of spacetime from our linear perspective asking ehat came before the big bang is like asking what is north of the north pole (which is a meaningless question if you dont know the answer). Its actually far more plausible that spacetime itself is a byproduct of the eternal truth of logic and mathematics, which like energy, cannot be created or destryoed and is eternal in nature.

There isnt a scientist in the world that says cells came from nothing. The current concensus is that simple molecules that occur in nature reacted and created a simple molecule that has self replicating tendencies. Given the proper medium (one example being the porus bubbles in rock around under sea vents) slowly over time evolved more and more sophisticated storage and processing of the information eventually led to RNA. After much further evolution, this eventually led to cells. This is a simplification, and there are competing theories, but you clearly have no idea what evolution is or what origin of life theories involve.

It's not my evidence it's evidence gathered by millions of scientists over more than the last 200 years. I've studied evolution extensively as well as finding DNA and related fields like protein folding extremely fascinating. DNA is not only possible without a maker we are perhaps only 50 years away from demonstrating this in the laboratory.

A bit off topic but I'll add my two cents,

please don't rip on evolution because all you've been taught is contrary to liking it.

Just because you believe in god or a higher power at work doesn't automatically mean evolution is out...

Evolution says that everything on this earth is different than it was, say, a thousand years ago.

My favourite example for teaching children how evolution kinda works is the story about the bunnies:
A small time ago there were two kinds of bunnies, one that could grow a nice long white winter coat and one who grew a nice black winter coat. Along came winter and the one rabbit donned his nice long white coat and the other one grew jealous, so he sent word to a wolf that lived not far away where the white bunny would be... The black bunny stayed atop the snowy hill to watch the wolf scare his friend but to his surprise the wolf hadn't even noticed the white bunny atop the pile of snow and the wolf had headed straight for the black bunny running him straight outta town!


Moral of the story is the white rabbit evolved to have a long white coat which was better to survive in the wild so guess which rabbit goes on to produce more white rabbits?

All evolution basically says is that over time whoever has better physical traits in nature generally reproduces more therefore making their traits the average and/or dominant traits of the world and at the same time eventually weeding out a few other traits.

If you don't believe that that happens then you're just a tad crazy... I'm not gonna go out and say that we evolved from some monkey as most people are right-- we don't know that for sure, we are still missing a few links in the chain-- but that doesn't mean you can't look at the millions of other reinforcements of evolution throughout other creatures.
A ton of religious people I know believe in evolution-- their rationale is that some higher power set creatures in a set state across the world and they grew from there, still logical.

and @ plus3 try not to be so condemning in your posts, even though science does reinforce our points there is no guarantee that we are right and it especially doesn't disprove anyone's respective god(s). Try to make yourself seem more agreeable not seem more correct, it generally works out better in the long run.
