Most of otm explanation for why account sharing is bannable seemed to be based off of possible scamming issues that can arrise. It makes absolutely no sense that clan banks are allowed to be shared and accounts are not. The risk of loosing important items is way higher with a clan bank than with a lvl 50 toon with some lux lol.

The true point of the thread is to try and understand why these people werent banned when one of them openly admitted on forums another of his clanmates backed up account sharing in a youtube video. ( which he now made private to try and hide his manipulation)
The other point in this thread is to get an explanation on why otm employees are talking to ch players about details of warnings and bans and having conversations. This imo is way over the line .

The real reason is OTM probably dosent mind account sharing. But to publicly post it in their TOS makes it a open and shut case for apple to ban OTM from iTunes, even so far as to remote wipe ch from all apple devices and sue OTM. Into non-existence.

OTM cannot even confirm or deny this without opening themselves to lawsuit. Thus all shared accounts will be banned is in the TOS but OTM says secretly clan banks are ok and dosent crack down on most sharing. They dare not ban clan banks - which by the way HAS HAPPENED more than once. It causes massive backlash and rage quitting which hurts OTMs bottom line.

Really they could avoid this double stNdard by fixing the clan item storage system and then enforcing the TOS as written.

So if i pay a lot of money and beef up their bottom line i can break the rules ? No the same rules should apply ... Again this is not about the banks in any way shape or form this is two players who have broken the rules and only got a warning when they should have been banned just like everyone else . It's about otm not following thier own rules.

Try harder to get many members of my clan members including me banned. Looks like that is the only way your favourite clan can get dl and event bosses.

This has nothing to do with event bossea or DL only otms rules . In which the people i speak of have broken.and weren't punished accordingly like the rest of us . Instead only get a warning.

This post is potentially defamatory of the business ethics of OTM and totally without basis. This person should be permanently banned from the forum for starting trouble again and again.

@ pig man im not the police but this is complete bs . If there's rules they should apply to everyone. And otm shouldn't be giving information to ch players on detials of bans and warnings.
