I am level 196 ice mage with full dl. I have been using my dl wand which besides the 200 focus gives me a steady around 200-300 dmg/ tick. So wand/frostbite/cloak of fire give me around 1k dmg/tick. The only reason I use cloak is because I get 5 free points from equipment and so why not use even though it doesn't give much. Shards and blast each give me 4-9k dmg so there isnt any normal mob that gives me any trouble. I was wondering if there was anything anyone can suggest to replace my dl wand? Not forgetting that I would loose 200 focus it it is gone. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hrung skull or mordy book are the obvious choices

If you can get your hands on one of the skulls a Swan mentioned you are going to have a good time.. Ice is slow so the recast reduce is a must!

I actually have the shards skull and preferred the wand over it. Recently started using a void frost adds 300 focus and I'm lovin it.
