I have just now finished killing exactly 1000 witches.

I got no special loot.

Then again, the drop would sell for a fair amount.

If you're bored and you've got nothing to do then this might be good.

Yea it depends on your game play preference and if you like to gamble. Say the average mount you get sells for 500k from them. If you know the odds (and we don't maybe we could start a thread and get people to post) - say 1/1000 the in the long run you could expect about 500g each from them. In the 1/100 it would take about 690 kills to stand a 50-50 chance of at least 1.

It's just that the payout is so infrequent you could wind up farming nonstop for days to get over a thousand and never get one. No one seems to buy the pumpkins for much but the large ones like imperial (5k damage) probably would sell.

There are other mobs and bosses you could farm that in all likelihood would pay out better.

Yes but the odds aren't too much better than getting a mount.

Nothing for me thus far and 400 kills or so into the event, but I do better with the drops as the event drags on and fewer peeps are killing them.
