Slayer's Golden Baselard is better...

no regen on baselard, 'nuff said.

Technicaly, For best dps, The Bodkin and any (Crush/Slash/Pierce) damage charm will grant more damage.

The golden axe of carnage: 17
Bodkin + Charm: 18+

So why not the axe and a charm? Well this is why...
There is simply no regen with this combo, so thats why. Rogues require an energy regen for sufficient dps. The bodkin and charm combo grants awsome dps and at least 10 energy regen.

Bodkin + Heroic Rejuv/Energize neck is the best DPS combo as it allows you to fire off more Sneakies, Quick Attacks and Rend then an Axe assuming you run out of energy one time. No question this is the better offhand then Axe + Heroic, Bodkin + Charm.

i will just put it out there that you can get a deal for a golden bodkin of spirits. maybe even get it for the price of the axe. you never no how desperate someone is to sell. wait it out cause thats what i did with my acient lammeler.

Get the bodkin of spirits and here's why.
After update you are gonna wish u had more energy when your skill points go up to 20 and 25 points. With golden axe of carnage u will be out of energy in no time. Thus I say bodkins if u want to think for future.

i think with heroic rejuv we should be fine, however bodkin is better for leveling and soloing, for group battles the axe is the way to go

i never tried the golden axe as im new here hmmm im gonna try it now curious how it works

If you can't afford any of the Otherworld offhands...bodkin is best
If you can afford or save up enough I'd get the venom dagger, good dmg, good regen, and poison is not resisted.
