Actually... Thats an interesting thought. If you could get your hands on a classless sword ability ring... Then test auto dmg on dummies with and without it equiped. If it does use sword ability, increasing it should add to the physical dammage multiplier, and your autos would be higher. It would at least confirm if this was made with sword ability, or no ability.

Now there's an idea... i got the blade on my mage but finding the rings sounds like a pain lol

Pre update when there were h2h mages, i thought about a trident mage. The trident is one handed class-less wep, u can take dex/vit/str one, what u need is attack gear, u have free offhand slot and theres lots of different attack items, with lure of assassins it could be pretty strong.
