I think the answer to your question, judging by your post, and then your responses so some of the replies it is apparent that you are highly erratic person.

You seem to go from super happy, to super pissed in the blink of an eye! which leads to inconsistency, toons on all other servers and no end game characters, rage quits, boredom quits, super happy comebacks, angry quits, didn't get drop quit, got KS'd quit, got upset by that person quit, feeling great today comeback, killed in the arena quit.. etc

you are going to have bad days. you are going to have good days. you are going to get screwed over, scammed, unlucky and sometimes lucky. you just need to work out how to play the game

In my opinion, because there's another game that I always go back to too (and I've played that game for 12 years now on and off), it's a combination of things. I think the biggest reasons are:
The social aspect - playing with people is simply fun and meeting new people is fun too.

The grinding/hunting - this instills a sense of accomplishment for all the hard work people put into their characters.

Lastly, the graphics - I know you'd think these games have bad graphics, but I think deep down inside, we appreciate the look and feel of the game. I think Celtic Heroes looks adorable. Cute. I'd give it a hug if I could. I know that sounds strange given the game is pretty brutal on paper, but that's just how I see it, personally.

sure the game is all about killing.. but we get to dress up in cute outfits too!
