I have an old account of mine with the old meteoric weapon quest, was told it doesn't work and tha I'll just have to level and ask for a quest update.

Confused, so basically you can do the met quest, but if you reset it, you cannot? Cuz your too low of a level?

He's level 87ish... Full met armor besides the top and has the quest for the bow. Obviously an old character who was able to get the old quest before the level requirements came into play.

I know someone that was in the same situation, they told support about it and they reset the quest for them so they didn't need to farm the diamonds.. Let support know

Yes, but I think he wants to do the quest on his low lvl. He would have to lvl up to 105 to do the new quest. My level 78 ranger has full lunar armor and meteoric bow.

My ranger had warden hands at 48. Yeah, I am that old. 0:

and at the moment, my warrior is 91 up to the legs. I leveled it a bit, but I stopped that now. 64 rogue has full wardens, druid has up to legs and its 75. Same with many of my alts. :3
