Re: solo/duo bosses with druid

Those stonevale druids are rather annoying. :/ they always make their rounds at the worst time. Is recommend pulling the giant donkey to the northern side of the grove in the patch of grass. Also, if you want to solo a boss with a druid is recommend high evasions and def. Max winds and bark and throw some good points in to crush ward (most higher lvl bosses are crush) and max lightning and have a high if not maxed vines. Throw as much in to natures touch as you can without sacrificing winds and bark. It may take a bit longer to kill a boss but if you use rings and equip that provide def and evasions it'll make you virtually indestructible.

Re: solo/duo bosses with druid

Hmm seems like could either root, vines, strike, nature touch and storm touch so it's druid that has aggro but boss rooted and druid does its damage along with rogue just sat at bosses auto only.

Or howling wind, magic ward, nature touch, vines and maybe strike. Which rogue has aggro but since has high defence with reflexes and howling wind then dodges a lot.

Not sure if anyone here tried both of these out yet. Idk if these are good setups even

I know you mentioned crush ward and not magic but Falgren and coppinger seem use magic based. I'm heading more for first option tho just because some bosses I wanna do spam skills so autos won't be the problem

Rogues love winds as most have a high defense. I recommend 400+ on defense (this obviously will be a high number for a lower lvl non-dex based class). Rogues and druids aren't known for having the best armor so bark is definitely helpful.

Touch obviously.

Lightening maxed. Fast cast and recast and low cost.

Points left into vines.

Personally I like swarm over vines for solo but if duo with a fast dmg class like rogue, then vines is good.

Sooo...

Lol therein lies the problems that we druids face when trying to solo. There's no perfect setup for bosses because certain ones use different skills than the rest. I'd recommend shaving 5 off of winds and 5 off bark and putting it in to magic ward just to be safe. I've learned that 5 maxed skills is good but when going against bosses that heal themselves I'd rather have 5 high lol skills and a couple mid or low lol ones as backup. Just whatever you do don't bother with cold ward until the Yule event comes out. Not enough bosses with cold dmg to make a difference.

Im currently working on soloing Swamplord (when I eventually see him up on my world!) and the winds set up is by far the best solo setup for druid solo bossing. Roots are only really needed at endgame. For frozen levels you only need 100 DEX max to make winds very effective. My choice between vine and swarm would be vines all the way, much better Dps, much less energy and seems to land alt more aswell. Skills in this order of priority should be touch, Winds, lightning, vines and extra points into Bark. That lot wiv decent main/offhand is very effective.
