The reason why there is a war is because Retribution and it's training clan Transcendent do not like competition. In addition to this, Ret/Trans has certain individuals who thrive on war, and do their utmost to create conflict. The leadership of both clans adamantly refuse to take any action towards controlling the behavior of these players, and therefore, peace is not possible.

Only way for peace is absolute power.

Sulis is fun all the clan crap gets pretty annoying at times...running solo is great too

Actually before we screwed up Necro, they had been screwing w us for a good amount of time (ex. pulling and killing mobs when we were obsiously trying to do the opposite, etc.) so we decided to get back at them in a way and not let them kill necro. So, we got them back, and since then Ret's world has been kill jah basically. In this war, they have tried their best to make the game miserable for everyone in jah and our feeder clan, and have done their best to frame us as these evil people and tried to make us quit. In reality, we just got them back, gave them a taste of their own medicine. Oh, and their chief is so obsessed with this game.. He thinks of himself as some sort of god, and if you have line add me:) Ill be happy to show you plenty of screenshots of his ***

There were escalations on both sides. I was at 165RD when someone from Ret pulled adds. Then I was at 160RD when someone from Jah did the that day or next day. There are many little things that add up before a war starts and nobody probably knows all the parts. Emotions then keep getting hotter and hotter especially in the arena.
IMO both sides are foolish for war. This is a game. I'm here to have fun not be angry and hate. So I just try to be nice to everyone and wait for peace (and Killian) again.

It has been very close to happening, and yes it makes me grumpy but I'm still not going to kill people. I'm just not a PvPer. I'm not mad at anyone that is. I can see the draw.
That same person, one of the most hated in the arena, I then later helped with his gladiator when I could have killed. Guess what, we are cool now and we help each other rather than kill each other. Honey works better than vinegar and hate breads hate.
