I think banning them now is a good idea they need to learn that we made rules for a reason and they can't just go running around doing as they please. so let us ride together and form a group from which the lights have never been seen, we shall take back what is rightfully ours and come forth as one to stop the maddness that plagues this server. our ancestors fought bravely for our lands and let me tell you I will not let these foul creatures come and just take over. so i say this to you now my brothers and sisters, fight with me, for our server, for our children and let us show them that we shall not cower in fear, or let evil reign over these lands!

Yes Arena was made for PvP, but when the xp quest was placed there you cant hide behind "its your choice to enter pvp area" argumentation.

Yes it is possible to attack and kill anyone in arena, but that doesnt mean that it is right to do so.

Likewise, it is quite possible to block people and to exclude them from boss fights/drops. That is usually not done in Lugh, but I cant see why such a reaction is wrong towards players who display the extent of anti-social behaviour that we are discussing in this case.

we are all so tired of those 2 guys thinking they control all of Lugh. I don't have to pay a monthly fee to no one so that I can access the arena.

I will never forgive him for saying such a terrible thing, addressing random Lughians as "dog", treating people like some traffic item which they can kill and get rid off, provoking us and saying they got the power over us, that they choose how things go. It's so insulting, fascistic. He's talking in this screenshot like offering the last meal before executing the player. Just horrible.

To adjust my vote B if it is about arena killing. A if it is for harassment and drop running etc, I think venus should edit the topic. Tell what is wrong and what is right. Arena killing isnt a reason for ban. Arena is a group pvp area so people are free to do what they like. Abusive language or drop running is more severe in my opinion.

My proposal;

People should get banned when:
-they keep using abusive language in a offensive way.( this is up to otm to ban the whole account)
-drop running, people shouldnt be grouped for boss fights if they ran with a drop before untill they hae returned the drop.
-repeatedly killing while people are doing daily(not included if you wait in line)

People shouldnt be banned when:
-they kill people in the arena, people should resolve this on their own. Call your clan or friends.
-abusive language that is not offensive. For example if you use rough words against your friend but he is okay with it

It is NOT JUST THE ARENA.
There a photos of them trying to buy dl. They have ksed a clan member of mine. These players aren't just verbally abusive, they take pride in harassing people, it's the only reason they seem to be playing right now.

First of all, does this comment say: arena killing only? The answer is no. I forgot to add selling dl items to the reasons for a ban.

I haven't personally had problems; but, if the behaviour is on par with Hiyo/Lyrics standards (sorry for the older reference if you weren't around then) then I guess some sort of behaviour management incentives could be tried. I honestly don't think collective world policing is effective as most individuals just get more pissed off and the behaviour becomes worse. But I also think that if reason and discourse fail, time and again, then . . . .

I also would like to add that not all worlds are like Lugh, but a lot of worlds are like each other. I would rather see Lugh stay like Lugh than change like other worlds. I know there has been a recent influx of people to this world from other worlds where clan wars, ksing, griefing are all common place, I would hate to see the community of Lugh devolve in this way. Even in our arena. Yes the arena is for PVP, but Lugh has an arena that allows people to gain their daily xp without headaches. Again, in most other worlds the arena is a ffa, Lugh is different. I would personally rather be able to wait in line in peace than be stabbed in the back and insulted repeatedly. Whenever I go to the arena in other worlds, in some places you can't even do your xp because as a low level because you are constantly killed by any higher level. It's a super piss off. It really slows xp gain. I think the best thing OTM could do is place the glad dailies outside of a pvp area somehow.

Yeah, or a low level or goes on a travel lix and keeps ON attacking you.

So looking at all posts before mine i have decided my vote. I have personally witnessed these very guys kill my main and Alts when in line for a daily, trying to steal bosses while bragging we can not stop them, shouting about the purchasing of Dl items, when dming lately trying to roll non class specific on class specific items such as DL, verbal harrasment and threats and so so much more like their theft, bullying low levels in the castle, stalking other players just to talk down to them and their lies.... I feel to not address the issue now will really bring about more problems than we can solve if it continues for too long. My vote is A. This is not about the arena this is about the bigger issue. This is about maintaining our server under the rules we all decided. Ban them it's already gone on too long.
