Been following this post and have one question... If theres such an issue with only two people, how come none of you have banded together to collectively spank them?

wendell, i dont think this topic only regards those two players. I think they also mean the scammers etc that have been active in lugh lateley

one of the nice things about lugh is that many of the high level players discuss the type of world we want and create rules and norms. This makes the game far more enjoyable for many people. So while it is true that the arena is PVP and can be a free for all - it doesn't mean we have to act like savages. Likewise, though it is possible to scam, it doesn't mean we have to accept it. The game is quite open - and though we cannot control everything, we can create a framework to make the game fairly enjoyable for most people.

I have no issue creating some type of ban list for those who repeatedly make the game less fun for others on purpose - be it scamming or interfering with dailys or anything else. Of course, depending on the offense, i hope we are willing to change the banning if the behavior changes.

This may be a good rule and maybe ban list should sticky to the top of the forums?

Problem is, who would be in charge of the forum topic, and how would we make sure it isn't abused?

Would it apply to the rules "naming and shaming"?

Would we always have to vote for every single player and just not on a few player's opinions?

A forum guide that plays in lugh should make this topic. And maybe there should be a vote first to ban someone? if 80% of the people vote for a ban of a player it will appear on the list(just a suggestion/example. This number should be discussed later)

First question, why would a forum guide need to make it?
Second, why even make a list?
Third, name and shame won't allow it.

They also tried ksing 200 6* today
