hello dear mages!
I am trying to get my mage to 150 in next weeks but solo lvling turned so hard, tho i will have a lvl partner for the next few lvls i will need a solo build where i can do some lixes without using 90 pots a lix lol, i have seen some mages on other worlds with shield and some other gear i cant remember, in last days ive tried to find them again but couldnt :/ thats why i am posing this, my main questions are follwing :
Is there a usage of dex in a mage build for soloing?
How can i use a lux shield for effective solo lvling if even?
What skills stats and wich specific gear should i use if one of the builds above works?
Is the experience on the boggan hallways even worth lixing it? my Toons before my mage been meele classes so i went soloing in pit.

Before i post this and someone needs to know my gear to answer that im posting my current gear although i hope it will change alot throughout the lvls lol.
Im using a master grimorie a +3 fire lure wand with some focus on it a lvl 110 fire magic helmet from newest event a ice shards firebolt charm with 48'foc a yule foc ammy a +5 event bolt ring grand royal attune grand lure ring.
I am tryig to get spirit shadow armour at the moment.

As said above i need a build like that for the future so any gear reccomendations would work, and not that someone says get a godly firebolt ring :p

Don't use spiritshadow armor, it sucks. Use obsidian armor, which boosts your fire magic by a lot and increases damage + decreases evades.

Then grab a level 100/150 rampart/bastion offhand shield. No dex, just vitality and focus. Use armor lix, defense lix, health lix, and energy lix with your xp lix.

Also put points in energy shield.

isnt defense, HP,Energy, Armor lix like 800-1k so 1 of each of them plus a XP will cost about 8k wouldnt u want to buy a combo?

Each one of those lixes can be easily bought for 500g each on Crom.

I don't know what the prices are on your world but on Morrigan you may as well run a combo.

No offense but this sounds like a build for a warrior. So along with the shield we need an aggy trident now?
