Hammers are rlly slow, Axes are good for Rupture if your Rupture lvl provides good damage, swords are the only endgame choice and are quicker. I find that even if my axe is like 300 ability points below my sword it is still better.

Hammer does more damage. I can easily see the difference between my auto dmg and my friends auto dmg when we are lvling. He does an easy 100-200 more auto dmg than me. Axe is good because it can make up that dmg in dps. i really dont care much about blunts but they are still worth using. Besides, if you pop a haste, u wont notice the difference in att speed between an axe and a blunt weapon.

atm i use a spear and spam skills and i like it, but axe is also very nice.

Sunflower wand, limited edition 2011. I have one and it does 1000 dmg per hit. No buffs.

I would switch of i use sword for farming/grinding and axe for pvp/bosses/lvling
