The Disease - It Continues...

#1
This morning Hrung spawned and everyone formed to kill. Dany and Tzunami were present and we made it clear per the vote they would not be dicing for drops. They elected to stay and form a group with MRR, Jsj1 and others whom i do not know who to steal lock. Since they did not help with adds, they got lock and it was decided to reset because their intent was to keep drops. When they got lock they were "loling" in chat and insulting everyone.

The vote on Lugh was approved to ban Dany and Tzunami from rolling because of their activity in Arena and how they treat people in general. Now that they are forming groups to steal lock and hopefully keep drops it has become a more serious matter. This is not the path i hoped for Lugh, however, they have to be held accountable for their actions. The people of Lugh have spoken and Dany and his group will continue to do whatever they want, whenever they want, without consequences.

As i see it there are a few options:

1. Do nothing (Dany and Tzu still banned) and let them try to steal lock at bosses
2. Ban anyone from rolling who is in Dany and Tzunamis group if they attempt a lock steal
3. Let DM decide who gets to roll if they try to lock steal

I am not one for banning an entire guild for the decisions of the few...however moving forward, the next time I am DM at a boss where Dany and his group attempt a lock steal i will not allow any of them to roll for drops. This behavior is getting out of hand and in the interest of the majority of the Lugh player base who wants a peaceful atmosphere something needs to be done.

Please provide your input.

Thanks,
Critz - 222 Rogue

In my eyes until they successfully get a kill over players we cannot ban anyone just yet, as no ks has occurred involving others, sure attempts were made but not successful ones.

This was absolutely easy to predict. If you ban them from rolling their only choice is to get the lock group ...

By selecting who can roll ... You are setting up the server for rogue groups who are banned from rolling .. Who must then conduct a clan kill to get any drops.

Great improvement for the server. Not.
By trying to dictate who can roll .. You are actually creating a more hostile environment with direct competition instead of cooperation as a natural result. This whole witch hunt is a mistake and is harming the server dynamics.

They were harming the servers dynamics before they were banned., And they shouldn't be able to get any good gear for a rogue alt if theyre banned, and if they get lock just reset, its easy

I've been quiet on this topic except a few in-game quotes.

If you aren't happy with how the situation is being handled collectively by many players then go start on another world with dominant clans at endgame. You will have to choose which 1 you think will gear you and hope they are active/strong enough to get lock on a boss. Also, you have to be present and camp the bosses. There's no global wechat groups like ours to alert you. Let me know how you like it.

By letting these guys run amuck with little or no action what will happen is: High Levels will form a tighter alliance or clan. This will then lead to excluding anyone that isn't accepted. ie: dominant clan. If you believe the folks here want their time, effort, and $ to be wasted by some punks then you're mistaken.

Lugh is a unique server and it's taken the collective efforts of many to create and maintain. I believe the collective effort will push forward and keep Lugh the way it is.

Topics like this doesn't solve anything. It only creates more chaos. Second how can you create a vote that already describes your feelings?

1. Do nothing (Dany and Tzu still banned) and let them try to steal lock at bosses- just say do nothing.
2. Ban anyone from rolling who is in Dany and Tzunamis group if they attempt a lock steal
3. Let DM decide who gets to roll if they try to lock steal

Option one is bs and should be changed. And there should be a 4th option like try to solve it with tzu and dany maybe instead of making them the black sheep, blaming then for everything and exaggerating their actions.

What else you expect? You banned them from all bossed( ofcourse for a reason), They managed to reach end-game and they can't do anything with it. You can't expect them not to try kill a boss? This is the same scenario when someone tries to claim an area for farming. It would be nice if someone returns later. But you can't force him,
You have two options then. Threaten them at yell curse etc. This will only result in someone staying in the same area and being stubborn. In the end everyone is mad and not a single problem have been solved

Second option is to ask them nicely to leave for example. Or to make a deal that they can get a share or a part of an area etc. This way the problem will be solved, Both partys will be happy.

The first option is how lugh currently deals with this problem.

in my opinion we should do the second option. We should talk with them and offer them a second chance. Tell them to leave people who are waiting in line alone( this was the main problem how this all started right?) and i think we if we deal with it in a more positive way we will find a solution
