So are you saying that the game is now exclusive for those with high end devices and internet - it should ni longer be about how much skill a player has rather it should be about how much money a person can invest in an iPad Air?

this isn't the point. what about the players who don't have access to a new device? should they be excluded?

Yes if they can't afford change then they can't play sorry but that's the way it is and its not otm its apple so if u can't change your left behind sucks but that's life

Agree with link, however you don't see PS3 people playing with PS4 people on same game but both servers are still running. Something to think about in the future maybe?

The problem from OTMs end is the game dosent run well on ipod5. This is also basically the same (guts are similar) as an iPhone 4S. If you break down the income from players a very large chunk comes from people on these devices and below.

So it dosent matter whose fault it is the update was rolled out and gave these people a poor experience. You only have one shot at a first impression it's human nature. The game should run acceptably, even in larger groups, on these devices. The longer it dosent the more OTM will feel the pinch. Already many are deciding not to buy platinum.

I feel a bit sorry for OTM as its hard being a small developer. It dosent stop me from being upset that the update turned my gaming experience from snappy and responsive to sluggish and laggy.

Dont ever tell someone to quit for not wanting to invest money, a free-to-play game should offer free services, but as said we need to wait. I use my 4s and im rarely laggy but I havent been in a boss fight yet.

Must say as for the argument about buying new device, leave it, ppl shouldnt tell others they must buy new device, also, in many places it costs more than plain 25$ or 50$ or 80$, in Israel an iphone costs much more and our currency is weaker, thus buying plat is also expensive and not worthy for me (1$ is 3.6 times my currency on average, not the best deal to do and could use that much money for a lot more things), and regardless how much it costs in each place, many ppl cant afford an upgrade on regular basis (nor I understand the need to upgrade everytime, many ppl just dont value their money), and the 'get a job' argument isnt valid either.

To sum things up, we definitely need to wait for everything to be fixes as its only up for less than a week, but ppl shouldnt argue and tell others to go buy newer devices.

5s runs fine
Ipad 2 is a bit slow most of the time and laggy at raids. (But it was in the old engine too.)
iPod 4 got in for like 30 sec once and that's it

I've played for over two years and my iPad2 never lagged the slightest on even the largest raids with full settings on the old engine.

iPad 2 was never as laggy and slow in old engine as it is in this engine. It's playable, so no complaints from me. Although I would love to see a fix for iPod 4, it was really laggy in old engine but rarely crashed, now it crashes every single time in populated environments.

The argument was that if you have the money to spend thousands on ch but are complaining that the game is unplayable on a crummy device, isn't it logical to save a bit of money on plat and invest in a new device instead?
