Hmm, 12 jobs being advertised at One Thumb Mobile. Sounds like a mutiny to me. PLEASE cut Richard some slack!
ADMIN...you are doing a great job!
Re: Is there a MUTINY at OTM?
#2I think this is more a sign of rapid corporate expansion! (or an expectation of said expansion...)
Re: Is there a MUTINY at OTM?
#3Hey there,
Definitely no mutiny, all the original team are here but since this update took so long we obviously need a lot more people as we become more ambitious with improving the game.
We are expanding and focussing completely on CH, getting started on some great new features, Android version planned, new website etc.
All that takes a lot of time so we need a lot more people. Also we need to improve support, build an operations team so we can focus on the new features without having to keep stopping to update the live version etc.
Thanks!

Android version huh? Cool. I have a good friend who I can recruit to CH when that goes live. Will Apple customers be able to play along side the new Droid ones?
Thx,

Re: Is there a MUTINY at OTM?
#5Hey it really depends how we end up building it, we may create a new engine that runs both on android and iOS that way both can play together and the iOS version will be using a better engine.
Will keep you up to date but it's early days yet.
Thanks!

Re: Is there a MUTINY at OTM?
#7I have sent your list of vacancies to a few friends, one an artist, another a game designer... Not sure if they want to cross the pond for work, but who knows, maybe they will shoot you their CVs...
BTW, you should also add some descriptions with job responsibilities, required education, years of experience to those job postings, and perhaps ditch the full size logo on that page... (on my laptop, you have to scroll down one full screen length to reach the list, and they are pretty `vague` !

Re: Is there a MUTINY at OTM?
#9Also I got a pm about a designer that quit - I can confirm that we have definitely not had a designer quit, it's still all the same team.
Thanks!
Thanks!
