Yeah that all used to be great advice! Really good stuff guys.
Unfortunately, mages have been nerfed. So your only option now would be to group level. Actually, cash in your toon now and make another class. You will be better off. There's no fun involved playing a high level Mage now. Unless otm gives mages back all that's been taken away- start another class.

wait wait wait firestorm is a magic not fire attack? That would explain why it sucks so bad.

I thought that was incinerate! Gaaaahh.... yeah I wondered why fire bolt was so much better.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but fire storm is in fact affected by fire storm. Hit 504, 505 and 508 on a friend without attunement or lure with fire storm, and with lure and still no attunement hit 718, 874 and 887.

A mage at heart... Fire mage that is.
Currently actively playing the game.
