I haven't seen a lot of congratulating going on. If they hadn't given us anything, no one would have said anything. But since they did, it's not good enough.

It's like that time I called up to the radio station wanting to request a song. Apparently I was caller 99 and I won a Wham! cassette tape. Never in my life had I wanted to jam out on my sweet boom box to Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. Rather than complaining about the lame award, I just never went and picked it up.

Well if we assume they're gonna be lame, just don't accept it. If the worse that happens to us is we get a lame pot in a game, then our day is pretty good.

These "gifts" are simply the most recent evidence that OTM has lost touch with their customers. A pot of any sort is a slap in the face and an FU from them. An elixir is just a slap in the face. While new players may be pleased with receiving anything for free from OTM, those of us who have played a year or longer (3 years for me) should find these gifts insulting imo. After the huge problems with installation of the new engine and still very little new content in over a year, many of my clannies are quitting or taking breaks from the game. I find it more and more that I am not motivated to log either and it is things like these gifts that sway me to not log. Would it be so terribly detrimental to your bottom line, OTM, to give a free chest each day? At least then there may be a glimmer that you understand and have some empathy for what your customers are experiencing these days.

I don't understand the entitlement in this thread. I haven't gotten anything good so I just quit going to the special offers link.

I've never gotten anything free from gaming companies I buy from, fast food places I eat from, home renovation places, etc. Sports illustrated sent me a thank you christmas gift one time thay was pretty lame. I guess I should have gotten upset and ranted about it
